...I got the Nokia 5300 as agift for christmas and fell in love with it instantly, everything from the design to the music player to the voice recorder is excellent. It is best known for being a music phone hence the name XpressMusic. Design: This has a very cool and funky design White plastic at the bottom and the top, and the middle is red rubber which has three buttons on one side of the phone. On one side there is the two volume buttons, you can only change the volume with these. They are very easy to press and below them is the camera button. You can press this for an easy way to get to the camera or video recorder. On the other side it says NOKIA in big white writing. They are still having that position, and now Nokia also decided to jump in to music edition phone.... In the line they just added Nokia 5320, a successor of previous edition 5310. and this phone prove good improvements over that. ...Nokia express music 5300. Recieved for christmas from my husband i was amazed and stunned that he actually chose a great gift, something that was all mine and could enjoy for a long time coming. I always try to get nokia as my phone as the layout and set up are easy to use and not to complicated i have had other makes only to exchange the next day due to not easily understanding the phone. For me to have a mobile mp3 player and a good camera in one is ideal and is always to hand having 2 children its great to capture them wherever you are. The slide design is great no more accidently phoning someone or storring unrecognised numbers. pictures are easily stored onto your pc using nokia manager and a usb cable and music easily transfered from windows media player to the phone which you can set up as your ringtone alerts... ...the software and USB cable provided with the phone. The software, amongst other things, lets you 'optimise' music files so you can fit more on your phone. This is easy, but can take a while. You can either play songs individually once on the phone, or on the actual Music Player, which behaves very similar to an a MP3 player. Unlike some similar generation phones you can set your MP3 files to be your ring/message tone, another piece of personalisation from the Nokia team. I guess a disadvantage for me is that I paid extra for a music phone, when it became apparent that really, my iPod was the thing that was up to the task. (I'm a playlist and podcast junkie) The connectivity from phone-to-phone or phone-to-computer is good. An old Samsung of mine just wouldn't register on my computer no matter what drivers I downloaded. The 5300 just works... Read review

Easy of Use I find using the phone very easy, if you're used to a Nokia you'll be familiar with the navigation straight away but if not it is still very intuitive so won't cause you any problems. A nice feature is music slider key that lets you quickly and easily switch between music, radio and phone. The navigation pad and keypad work well and feel nice to use. All the features you'd expect are available and easy to use, set your own ringtone music, send & record audio messages, email, play online games and surf super fast with 3G (the web browser is Opera).
