Malaysia
Advantages: Beautiful beaches. Great shops at night great fun, forests too
Disadvantages: hot/humid/polluted
...Kuala Lumpur the capital of Malaysia is great for all tourists, in this very hot climate there are excellent hotels. There are great shops and things are very cheap, technology is pretty good too.
Strange things were seen when exploring Malaysia, shops sellings testicles, yes i did say what you just read, Kangaroo testicles etc. I wont go into detail what else they were selling because you get the idea.
I just said the last part to throw a huge contrast of Malaysia=let me explain, basically Malaysia is a great tourist destination because it has great sites like the worlds tallest towers - The twin towers in Kuala lumpur - I went there and trust me its very high, but for some reason they dont let you go right to the top! - and if any one was wondering yes you travel by elevator not stairs.
The two towers are joined by a central...

Welcome to Malaysia!!!
Advantages: lots of attractions, nice people, wonderful foods and wonderful country
Disadvantages: sometimes you may not stand the hot and humidity...
...It's been a year and a half I've been UK, well specifically in Leeds. At this moment, alone in my room make me missing everything back home and that the reason I've wrote this review. Might be you'll think that I tried to promote my country although it is not my main reason, but hey why not. I'm proud to be Malaysian. Cheesy?.
Facts about Malaysia.
Sometimes, when I met new people and told them I'm from Malaysia, they will ask me back "it's Malaysia near China?" Well, its true China and Malaysia are Asian country but we are not that close to each other. Malaysia's nearest neighbors is Thailand, Indonesia and also Singapore. Our native language is Malay and second language is English so it's not a problem when you go there because most people can speak English very well.
Our population in 2005 estimated around 23,953,136 and is...

Malaysia Airlines, sets the benchmark for other airlines!
Advantages: Very hospitable, great customer service, no delays, no fuss, very welcoming
Disadvantages: You won't want to leave the plane!!
...Malaysia Airlines have flown me between Heathrow and Kuala Lumpur twice a year for the last 8 years and I wouldn't fly with any other airline.
Firstly, if you're flying too and from Kuala Lumpur on a regular basis, join the Enrich frequent flyer reward programme. You will soon amass points that can then used for upgrades to business class when you want a real treat.
Malaysian custom is to be very polite and hospitable and its no different with Malaysia Airlines (MAS). Whether its terminal three at Heathrow or check in at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, you get a warm greeting and all the assistance you require. In my experience, nothing ever seems too much trouble for either the MAS ground or flight crews. Many years ago I mentioned that my wife and I were on honeymoon and we were pleasantly surprised on-board with a bottle...

Some Info About Malaysia

The climate of Malaysia is usually warm and very humid. And Malaysia will be having a monsoon season every year. But rain can be expected everyday.

Want to to get know about Malaysia, Visit Melaka
Advantages: cheap, nice historical places
Disadvantages: difficult to getting around, most people speaks malay and chinese, poor public transport
...Do you like history or you are a historian? If the answer is Yes, then You should go to visit Melaka. Many people said that "visit Melaka, then you have already visited a whole Malaysia country."
Melaka is well know as the city of heritage and history in Malaysia. It is located on the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia facing the Straits of Malacca. To get there, you need to take an airplane to Kuala Lumpur International Airport and you can charter a cab to take you to Melaka. It might takes 3 hours before you can arrive at Melaka. If you are departing from Singapore, you can took coach and you need 4 hours to arrive in Melaka.
PLACE TO STAY IN MELAKA
Finding accommodation and spending a night in Malacca is a simple matter of choice and budget.
For those people who prefers to stay in the city, there are a lot of choice for you. If...

Malaysia - A good Country to Visit
Advantages: Tropical climate. Multi cultural Good food.
Disadvantages: Humidity.Traffic Jams in the Cities.
...Malaysia is a very good country to visit. It is comparatively cheap with the rinngit pegged to the US dollar at the rate of US$1:RM3.80. You can find budget hotels at around 15 pounds per night, 2/3 star hotels at about 20 pounds and if you look for special offers you can even stay in de luxe hotels for around 50 pounds per night. That is not bad is it ?
Eating out can be very inexpensive - if you patronise the local hawker stalls you could get dinner for around a pound, and even a good meal in a air conditioned restaurant need not set you back more than three or four pounds.I have eaten marvellous dim sum buffet style in a hotel-The Mint-for less than 5 pounds.
Another great feature of Malaysia is that it is a multi cultural nation with Malays/Indonesians, Chinese, Indians, and the indigenous peoples of the Peninsular...

Malaysia Airlines - Going beyond expectations
Advantages: First class service, good entertainment system, excellent airplane,
Disadvantages: May be a little expensive
....
****The Journey****
The crew members are indeed very friendly and helpful. One think i like about Malaysia Airlines is that the crew makes you feel at home and they are always ready to serve you with a sweet smiling face.
The seats are comfortable and it's what you would expect for the price you are paying. The cabin is clean and all flights are NON SMOKING flights (even in the toilet, which is GOOD).
The meals are good and they serve three varieties each time. It also comes with unlimited cocktails, wine, liquers, beer or any other soft drinks and juices. Snacks (such as chocs, biscuits, rolls) are available throughout the journey for free and all you've got to do is to press the 'service button and they'll attend to you in an incredibly short time. I'm impressed myself.
AS well as the normal food they serve, Malaysia Airlines has...

Want to Live in Malaysia?
Advantages: Modern facilities, conveniently located, friendly people, lots to do
Disadvantages: None
...We were in Kuala Lumpur, commonly known as KL, sitting in an Irish pub (for a change!) when we spotted a copy of "The Expat" magazine. Having expat-related business ventures ourselves, although not Malaysia-based, naturally we were interested to read this glossy magazine - it turned out to be an excellent publication - and discovered that there was to be an Expat Expo in the nearby Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) on 29 and 30 September 2007.
Well, we were in KL on holiday, had no business materials with us, and no smart clothes. But we decided to go and have a look anyway, as we're always interested in expat-related things. It was well worth while.
This was the first Expat Expo organised by "The Expat", but the general consensus among the attendees seemed to be that they hoped it would become an annual event. Certainly if it...

A short guide to Malaysia
Advantages: Beautiful scenery and cheap prices
Disadvantages: Too hot! and the cities are somewhat polluted
...Well where to begin. Firstly some quick tips for preparing to go to Malaysia:
First and most important take some ANTI MOSQUITO cream/repellant. This is the MOST important piece of advice any of these reviews could suggest to you. This is because virtually everywhere in Malaysia has mosquitos and they are a huge pain, causing swelling and severe itchiness.
Secondly if your going for a week or two then you should get the necessary jabs: malaria ect (speak to GP). Although most people will not come into contact with the nasty infections abroad, you don't want to be the unlucky one that does become infected.
Thirdly do not, I repeat do not even think of taking any illegal drugs into Malaysia. This is because it has the DEATH PENALTY for drug dealing.
Fourthly you may want to bring some extra money for dental treatment. Strange...

Street restuarants in Malaysia
Advantages: Inexpensive, tasty, widely available through the day & night
Disadvantages: the stalls get crowded
...Incredibly tasty and inexpensive food,at most hours of the day and night, can be obtained almost anywhere in Malaysia. The place to get these cheap eats is in the street restaurant industry- dining at a cart,a spartan, old style coffee shop (cafe tiam) or streetside hawker stall is an experience not to be missed. The very best stalls will be just as well patronised and busy as any of the growing number of yuppie restaurants or Seattle style coffee houses in town.
What dishes will you find in Malaysia's street restaurants.? The short answer is almost anything. Head for Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur and you will be able to savour many varieties of Cantonese cuisine. Some stalls are renowned for their "dim sum"-small bits of meat, yam,or seafood wrapped in pastry and then steamed.Others are famous for Chicken Rice in which the steamed or roast...
