Postman Pat SDS

Advantages: fun
Disadvantages: none

...Postman Pat - Special Delivery Service (SDS)... Postman Pat seems to have got far better working conditions than ever before and this is clearly shown in his brand new children's television programme aired on BBC2 weekday mornings at 8.30am. Jack and I think that the whole show is truly brilliant and we have even set our set top box to record every episode as we are both well and truly hooked. (Especially as "Pat" is one of a limited number of words that Jack has in his vocabulary!). Now the Postman Pat of old used to drive a small red van delivering letters of maybe even small packages. This new series shows Pat delivery some of the most strangest things from bouncy castles to cattle! It appears that Postman Pat has got a promotion and is now Head of the Special Delivery Service meaning that he is the proud user...

Review of Postman Pat SDS Programme

Postman Pat and his black and white cat

Advantages: The different challenges you keep facing
Disadvantages: Sometimes no break between one challenge to another

...Postman Pat is a children?s television programme which has gone on for many years now. Recently it has been upgraded quite a bit and has more graphics added to it. They brought out a game which tries to copy the television show on the Nintendo Ds Console which I am admitting to playing purely because it was there and I wanted something fun to play. The Game The game is all about Postman Pat as you might have guessed. You begin doing some challenges in this story mode feature. You get to see Postman Pat and his mail and the first few challenges are to do with catching mail which is flying around and trying to put it back into the sack for which they flew away from. Another challenge shortly after is when you need to place parcels into his van before the clock runs out. Each level you do has a set target score you need...

FREE DVDs

Advantages: Free trial, large choice, post included, new realeases
Disadvantages: see review

...I like movies and I like freebies, so when you get offered both in one swoop you?re bound to accept! I used my two week free trial with this company and remained with them for a couple of monthsbefore moving on to try many other companies free trials (and winning a new DVD player on Tesco DVD rental site on their free trial offer). I then had an email from DVDs 365 asking me to go back, and offering me a free DVD if I did so. I had just left Tesco (with my new DVD player) so I chose to go back with them. ∆◊◊ THE SERVICE THEY OFFER ∆◊◊ Basically it?s like going to a video shop and hiring films on DVD, except you don?t pay for each film you chose ? rather a monthly fee for which you can watch as many movies as you can fit in, for us this is usually around 8 a month (2 a week usually weekends...

Postman Pat ...... Before the Helicopter!

Advantages: Cheap and Sturdy
Disadvantages: none

...Postman Pat Pocket library......... Jack is a little bookworm and loves nothing more than a good book. His latest obsession (well his first one really) is Postman Pat. Of course, the Postman Pat Special Delivery Service, which is on every weekday morning 9.15am on BBC2, is a lot jazzier than Postman Pat used to be, so it not surprising he can't get enough of it. With Pat jetting about in his "Special Delivery" helicopter delivery parcels to all over Greendale it would make any little boy aspire to be a Postman! Anyway it was a little while ago now that we purchased these books from Waterstone's and there was a buy 3 for 2 offer on but these books were selling for £3.99p. I have seen them cheaper on the Internet but the saving is merely a few pence (and with postage would probably tot it up over £4). What you are getting...

Yeah That's Right. A Rapper Called Pat

Advantages: Lots of bangers
Disadvantages: Little variation

..."Walkin' Bank Roll" came out in 2007, and the album came as the sixth solo release from the Memphis rapper, Project Pat. The artist is the elder brother to Three 6 Mafia member, Juicy J, and so a lot of the musical style seems to cross over between both acts. 1. "On The Porch" (Intro) 2. "Rubberband Me" Pat explains what he means by the title of the album in this one as it has him talk about how he makes money for doing each and everything e does in his life. Not matter how mundane it may be, he finds a hustle out of it, and his then likens himself to a this for effect On top of some bassy beats from Three 6 Mafia, you can't go wrong. . **Four Stars** 3. "Don't Call Me No Mo" The whole album is produced by DJ paul and Juicy J as Three 6 Mafai, however this track has them take on an additional role in things as it has them...

How many parcels can Pat carry?

Advantages: great game for little ones
Disadvantages: none

...We bought this game for my daughter when she was almost three for Christmas and it has provided her with a lot of fun ever since - although I probably would have to say that she does not yet play the game as intended. This is not altogether surprising as the game does have a minimum age of three years so she still is a tad young! The main reasons though that she is not yet up to playing the game properly is that she is not yet completely au fait with the conventions of board games - especially that most important one of turn taking! However, her four and a half year old sister is fully into playing the game. I will endeavour to describe what they both get out of it! The game is actually quite a simple one and based on that favourite children's character - Postman Pat! There is about a 4 inch plastic figure of Pat and he is placed...

Postman Pat Bumper Collection

Advantages: A great fun packed DVD - great value for money
Disadvantages: None

...Postman Pat is a timeless classic that appeals to generation after Generation -I remember as a young child being ascinated by the adventures of Postman Pat and his black and white cat. Now, more than 20 years on my son shares my love of the goings on in Greendale. The ever popular animated series was written by John Cunliffe, and with the artistic skills of animator Ivor Wood the Postman Pat story was first brought to life on tv in 1981. Each episode is about 15 minutes long and follows the story of how Postman Pat and his cat Jess deliver post around the village of Greendale. But inevitably Postman Pat is always drawn into the mishaps and dilemmas of the residents of Greendale, which detract him from the work he is meant to do. The Characters in Postman Pat are: Pat Clifton - Village Postman (Postman Pat) (1981-) Jess the cat...

Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

...At first I wasn't convinced by up-scaling DVD player technology but was persuaded after reading an article in "What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision" magazine. Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. All the components such as cables, remote and manuals were well presented in their own protective plastic bags, to keep them protected. The player...

Clowing around with pat

Advantages: Very funny, kids love it
Disadvantages: having to watch it over and over, beacuse the kids love it

...We got this dvd about 6months ago, and it is great. It has a all new feature length special and two new episodes. The total running time is 55minutes and it is rated Universal, suitable for all. Postman pat clowns around (feature length) when the circus has to cancel its visit to Greendale, the children are so dissapointed that they decide to put on their own show. Postman pat joins in with hilarious consequences! (I love the music when the people of greendale are hammering in the big tent, both my boys jig along to it!) Postman pat and the runaway kite Its a windy day in Greendale and a kite festival is taking place. Jess the cat gets caught in a kite and ends up flying above and around greendale, with pat chasing after her. (Very funny) Postman pat and a job well done Pats son Julian goes with his dad on his post round...

Pat has been Promoted to SDS

Advantages: each episode is full of fun
Disadvantages: none

...Way back in the early 1980`s was a childrens television programme about a postman and his cat, my youngest brother would sit for hours watching every episode that my dad had recorded. In 2008 Postman Pat got modernised and gets promoted to the Special Delivery Service in Pencaster. Crazy Robots At the Pencaster mail centre the sorting machine is broken, parcels are flying all across the room and are getting in a mess. Postman Pat recieves a phone call from Ben and is asked to pick up a special delivery parcel from Ted which turn out to be 2 robots. Ted tells Pat that there is an off switch on the robots should there be a problem. While Pat and Jess are in the van the robots overhear Pat talking to Jess about a carwash and they manage to get out of the van and soon get into trouble by going through the carwash which...
