...This is my favourite highstreet clothes shop. Practically all of my jumpers are Jane Norman. The reason for this is that they always look better quality than other highstreet brands and their designs are often unique. I love 'off the shoulder' style tops and girly styles, and Jane Norman definately caters for this. I have to say however that some of the fabrics used for their sweaters/jumpers tend to go bobbly. My sister took a jumper back to Jane Norman complaining that this had happened to her jumper after washing just two times. It looked as though the fabric had 'worn' on the arms. The customer service however was poor, the shop attendant simply said that Jane Norman fabrics do tend to wear in this way. But they offered no exchange or refund. ...I would have to agree with the previos writer, who gets his hair cut at the great Norman's in Gateacre Village. Some people as the previous opinionist pointed out, many old people do sit there all day, but this is just down to the sheer quality of the personality of Norman, he is a true genius of conversation, and even though he's a red, he still poses respectful opinons on Everton. Some people say they go just frrom Norman, but I would say I go for more than just Norman. The prices are great, the magazines are greater and the haircuts, although he can only do one style they are very classy. Long live Uncle Norman.... Read review

...Some people must have wondered what was going to happen to the BBC's movie review program after Barry Norman's defection to Sky. I thought Norman had a bit more loyalty than that, but I suppose the draw of satellite mega bucks must be a powerful thing. Jonathan Ross has proved to be a more than capable replacement than Norman. His comments may be a bit more obtuse, as he favours the more cult side of things, but his opinions are reliable, which is the main thing. ...Ok, a break down of Jane Norman as a store: Advantages: Some of the clothes in Jane Norman are absolutely lovely! Especially the summer dresses that they do there! I personally love the colours that they use in their range as well, as it's usually all very season appropriate. Their products are always fashionable and useful for smart wear or just to create an attractive wardrobe. As trivial as it is, the iconic "Jane Norman" bag that you get to carry around after a purchase is also a big plus! Disadvantages: Despite what some people say, I do think that some items of Jane Norman clothing and accessories are seriously over-priced, but maybe that's just coming from me as a student! ...I like jane norman and think it of reasonable quality. The stores are quite small and can get really busy. you can get pushed around a bit in there. The clothes and accessories are quite expensive allthough are not quite as expensive as topshop and that sort. i have never had to take anything back or swap it so i suppose that says something for itself. The staff are reasonably freindly but are not extremely helpful. i personally find that the clothes in jane norman are meant for extremelly skinny people and that sometimes puts me off going in there. i personally think the clothes are to smart and going outy instead of casual and i think they could benefit from having more casual clothes there. the ques are not too big but sometimes as the shops are rather small can be a bit akward to get around when looking for your clothes.... ...Another gem from the Fireman Sam range of DVDs. Pontypandy's finest fire fighters are fit for action all the time in this great collection of stories. There is great humour and it appeals to children and adults alike. It is my favourite children's show- pure quality. It is very well written and the characters are very believable and fun. 'Fun Run'- Sam organises a fun run, but Norman changes all the arrows, as he wants to win the chocolate cake. Unfortunately, Woolly the sheep has a taste for arrow signs , which gets Norman lost. Is there anything that Woolly wont eat?!! 'Trouble and Squeak'- in this episode, Norman is asked to look after the school's pet mouse. ...I have found Jane Norman to be a great store. So far, I have only been in the Knightsbridge and Oxford Street branches, and I think that it is one of the best clothing stores around. Visiting a Jane Norman store during the sales has to be one of the best shopping experiences of my life! I was slightly disappointed to find out that a dress I had paid £32.99 for had been reduced in price to £21.99 but I was cheered up by all the other amazing bargains. I 'discovered' Jane Norman clothing a couple of years ago and have been a loyal customer ever since! I would say a good 3/4 of my wardrobe consists of Jane Norman clothes. Wearing them, I feel comfortable and confident that I look good. I regularly receive compliments about my Jane Norman outfits. ...My whole summer wardrobe consisted of clothes from Jane Norman. I am a size 12/14 and found that the trousers from this shop are a fantastic fit for me. I am quite heavy on the thighs and stomach area and i was pleasantly surprised to see that a size 12 fitted me perfectly.I am a 20 year old student and I found the prices to be very reasonable and once you are wearing your latest purchase from the shop, you will find yourself feeling great.They always have the latest fashion and do not contain any "outrageous" styles. One of the great advantages I see in Jane Norman shops is that if I find a top for myself in the store then I am guaranteed to find trousers or a skirt to match also in the same shop.Further more, I feel that Jane Norman contain a wide variety of belts which are a must have for any girl this season!! ...This is yet another superb selection of Fireman Sam stories-great for all the family. The chracters really come alive and there is a lot of humour. Beast of Pontypandy- in this episode, Norman's mum is watching 'Wierd But True', when a beast is shown. Norman has an idea- he decides to cover Woolly in mud and turn him into the beast of Pontepandy. As usual, Norman's plan doesnt go quite as he expects... 'Fit for Nothing'- In this episode, Penny really proves her worth. she demonstrates her fitness in a speedy rescue. She ends up with her picture in the newspaper and Fireman Sam congratulates her. Neighbourhood watch Out'- the children decide they are going to be the local neighbourhood watch, but they end up causing problems when they try and catch innocent people. ...OVERVIEW Another classic collection of Fireman Sam stories on this super DVD. Don't be fooled by the cover- this DVD is great for all year round as there is only one episode about snow. The characters in Fireman Sam are superb- Sam is a true hero with a great sense of humour and an exellent firefighter. Elvis loves his music and is a bad cook. Penny is the perfect firefighter and she is alway the sensible one. Station Officer Steel thinks h is cleverer than he is and tries to take credit for other people's good ideas. Norman is naughty and always up to mischief. Mandy, Sarah and James are usually sensible children, although sometimes they make mistakes too. EPISODES 'Let it Snow'- it is snowing in Pontepandy and NormanPrice is very worried that they won't be able to get a Christmas Tree. So Norman goes on an adventure on his sledge... Read review
