a very good attempt at an entry-level projector

Changing the bulb was something I did for the sake of doing it - many people will say one thing based on someone else's opinion, but changing the bulb was remarkably simple - of course, be sure to let the unit cool down first. It was just a matter of unscrewing a couple of screws and sliding the bulb housing out. One note to ANY person considering buying ANY projector - replacement bulbs can get expensive, and are a vital part of a projector's life span. Think of replacement bulbs like ink toner cartridges - they only last so long and they have to be replaced. For some units, I have found that only "qualified service personnel" can replace the bulbs, and there are some - such as the VT470 - that are satisfactory to the do-it-yourselfers......

Record Sky at the touch of a button

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Case could be a different colour

...off. Recording your favourite series or soaps is not problem either as you can set it to record a whole series. Ofcourse one big advantage is being able to watch one programme while recording another or recording two programmes and watch terrestrial TV through aeriel. I have had these two SkyPlus Pace TDS470N now for over 3 months and not once have they given any problems. If you subscribe to sky you are not charged any extra for using sky+ service but you are charged £10 for multiroom. To say I never ever saw the need for a Sky+ box, had it not been for my son buying one I would never have known how great it is and now I wouldn't be without it....

A good suck and a tool for my crevices

...on a Panasonic E470 costing £99.40. It wasn?t the cheapest on display but it was far from the most expensive. It is a smart bright red bagless cleaner so Dave does get to see the dust whirling round after all and to be fair he does do his share of the vacuuming ? come to think of it he does most of my share too! It is 6.9 kg in weight so that?s 15lb in old money which is quite heavy really but even the so called lightweight ones were 6.4 kg so it didn?t make a fat lot of difference really. The cleaner has a set of on board tools comprising of an extension wand, a crevice nozzle (make of that what you will!) and a dusting brush for soft furnishings.
