The film begins with various rich ladies and gentlemen enjoying being wined and dined at the lovely country manor of GOSFORD PARK where they have all arrived for a shooting party. Already bored? stop reading this is not the film for you! Of course as these are the richest poeple they come with servant and all, already with so many characters a film that is enevitably going to be a whodunnit. Alas we forget the minor detail that someone is yet to die and of course it is the person that so many people had a motive or opportunity to do so. ---INFORMING YOU OF THE FUTURE---

Advantages: Instant viewing of all websites, no matter how many pictures on it
Disadvantages: Very expensive, in excess of 50p a minute

Slow slow slow

Advantages: Many features, not one virus!
Disadvantages: Slows down system, not for laptops

...I purchased this package a few months ago to use on my laptop when connecting to the Internet. The package appeared to be excellent, with all sorts of useful features such as the scan disk, alerts etc. However, my laptop was not as happy as I was. The virus checker consistently deleted or moved essential startup files resulting in having to re-install Windows every time it was started. The installation monitor is particularly annoying. It either pops up randomly or does not let the installation program install correctly. It also tends to confuse the names of previous programs that have been installed before I started using Nortel. For example, it confused a new printer driver with Driver. The CrashGuard box then appears and automatically restarts. I then have to re-install Windows. Review of Norton AntiVirus 2.2 Complete package

A recomended phone

Advantages: Good looking, well featured, well built.
Disadvantages: Screen could do with being a tiny bit bigger. The ability to download logos and ringtones like Nokias can would be nice too!

...I have had my C35i for a few weeks now. It's my fourth mobile phone, and probably my best yet. Before this I have owned a Nortel, a Phillips, and an Ericssion T18 and none have matched this for features and style. I bought the phone on a Genie pay as you go tariff which gives me reasonably prices calls plus unlimited free text messages and unlimited free use of WAP. A great deal considering I often send over 600 text messages a month! It only cost me £69.99 to buy too (but watch out, unlike many other pre-pay mobiles this didn't come with any credit to start with!) When looking at this phone you've got to remember that it is in the budget end of the WAP handset market, but it really doesn't feel like it. High performance bargain basement phone

Advantages: High quality build, excellent reception, scope for personalisation, responsive keypad
Disadvantages: Bit big

...-to-features ratio cannot be faulted. I really felt that this phone was actually designed by people who know what users actually want (having had also had an Ericsson and Nortel in the past). Then menu system is logical, extremely easy to use and the display is clear. The reception was great and I have rarely experienced a dropped call on it. I also really liked the ability to compose text messages quickly and the fact it was compatible with downloaded personalised ring tones and logos from the internet. It's also a dual-band phone, so even though it will/was locked to the ~~~~ge network, it can work with all of the major UK networks. I'm writing this in Feb 2001, so the phone is now in the bargain basement, having been superceded by Nokia's newer, more stylish models. Gone but not forgotten

Advantages: They would be antiques pretty quick

...I have to really think about this time, should a time capsule reflect the era or your life, so in putting my 10 things in the time capsule, I am representing both. 1) One of my pride and joys was my first mobile phone. About 10 years ago I bought it from my littlewoods catalogue and it cost me approximatley £250. Stop laughing, ok it was green and heavy and rather big with an aerial. It was made by Nortel.
