Passport to paris
Advantages: Great for the whole family , easy to follow , funny ,
Disadvantages: none
...Passport to paris
Twins Melanie and Alyson porter (played by Mary-kate and Ashley Olsen) are average American teenage girls.
During their Spring Break they plan on going to the spring fling dance , a popular dance at school , but their parents suprise them with tickets to Paris. The girls are disappointed but decide there'll be plenty more dances that they can attend.
So during their Spring Break they visit their Granpa in Paris who is the American ambassador.
Before ariving they are excited about spending some quality time with their Grandad who they have not seen for some time.
They soon discover that they will not be spending much time with their grandpa but with his assistant Jeremy Bluff who acts as their chaperone.
The girls disagree with almost everything he does and said , and try to come up with all kinds...

Passport in a hurry? No need to worry
Advantages: Fast, efficient and totally secure
Disadvantages: Costs a bit more for peace of mind
...Note this advice applies only to priority passport renewals by UK citizens - it doesn't cover first passports or anyone whose nationality is more 'complicated'. Other procedures apply in those instances.
Do you know where your passport is? Do you know when it's due to expire?
Organised readers will smugly be thinking "Yep, it's in the top drawer, under the insurance paperwork with another 5 years to run". Some readers may be wriggling in their seats slightly uncomfortably thinking "Well I know where it should be but I'm not completely sure and it must be due to run out soon because I still had hair/didn't have wrinkles/had that ridiculous make-up when the photo was done". Or maybe one or two of you are going to spend a few hours worrying because you really can't remember where you put it or when it runs out.
Recently my...

Portable, durable and affordable disk space: WD 160GB Passport
Advantages: reliable, small & light, slim and sleek design
Disadvantages: bundled sync software which is difficult to navigate
...amount of important files. Needless to say, I don't think that will be a problem with the WD Passport Portable.
The only thing potential buyers need to think about when considering this device is how much space they need for their files. 160 GB is one of the smallest sizes I could find for external hard drives, but it is about the same size as my laptop's internal hard drive - in other words, it stores a lot of data! If, therefore, you are looking for something just to back up a few photos, or a couple of word documents, it would probably be a better idea to do so by CD or USB stick. But it's a definite for people who want to transfer and back up there many files easily, securely and promptly, without having the downside of dragging a huge bulky hard drive around when you want to take your files with you elsewhere....

"Blimey! I'm a foreigner!" - Passport To Pimlico DVD
Advantages: Great one-liners, great idea for a film, love it!
Disadvantages: None
...One of my favourite films, Passport to Pimlico was a film I first saw when I was a child, and the concept of it really appealed to me.
It came out in 1949, and is set a in post second world war London, Pimlico to be precise (funny that!). It stars Stanley Holloway (also in The Lavender Hill Mob, My Fair Lady and much more), Margaret Rutherford (Miss Marple), and a very early appearance from Charles Hawtry (Carry On films).
To summarise slightly, because I don't want to give too much away, and besides, it is definitely a comedy worth seeing, there is an unexploded bomb, some kids are playing and accidentally(?) kick a tyre down the hole, which sets off the bomb, to reveal a hole (which I gather was a buried cellar) containing among jewels, coins etc, a set of important documents revealing to the inhabitants that Pimlico is in fact...

Your Passport to your data, Whenever, Whereever
Advantages: *Compact *High speed *No need for additional power adapter
Disadvantages: None to say about
...This little beauty is small (about 5 inches in its longest dimension) yet perfectly formed. I've been using mine for months now and its not backed out on me yet. I find it most ideal because, although there is the option of buying a power adaptor to power the unit, it can be powered via the USB cable supplied with it.
Adding to its neat design, the HD is very quiet and It doesn't seem to get hot (or even luke-warm) while running.
The massive 120GB space is an absolute steal at its current price of between £77 and £97 GBP on the Ciao.co.uk market (roughly $139 USD)
Although you can buy many external Hard drives with double or even triple the capacity than the WD-Passport, I'd recommend this over all of them due to its slim design, low power requirements, ease of use AND the quality of the product itself. A robust investment...

Foreigners in their own country
Advantages: Gentle comedy, great characters and actors, Ealing Comedy
Disadvantages: Outdated for some
...**************************** NO SPOILERS ***************************
Pimlico as a name certainly has an unusual twang to it and does sound almost foreign, yet it is a borough of London. Passport to Pimlico is one of the now classic comedies which came out of the Ealing Studios, during their prime in the 1940's and 1950's. This gentle comedy is set in the era, just after the Second World War, when rationing is still very much in operation. During a long hot summer, the discovery of an unexploded bomb eventually leads to an exciting discvery, which may lead the citizens of Pimlico to an apparent means of solving their shortages. A lot of this film was made on a set which was erected on a cleared bomb site in London.
This film has delightful characters and a wealth of those actors and actresses, who were my favourites during my...

A haven for passport seekers
Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Emoticons quite dated
...is on a specific day. At the moment mine is set to fabulous, but it has been known to be set to angry, depressed or bored, depending on how I?m feeling.
INTENTIONS
***********
This is where your intentions for chatting can be displayed. Mine is always set to meet new friends, but other options include romance and looking for advice. I have found that the looking for advice option is mainly used by people who wish to get a passport into Britain. Amazed???.me too, but it is unbelievable how desparate some people can be. At first, I was sympathetic, then I would hit the ignore button immediately they started enquiring about the possibility ? now I just pass on the number of the British Passport Office and say it is my home number. Irresponsible? Probably, but it does become quite tedious after a while.

Hotmail & MSN Passports
Advantages: Very handy, especially with an MS Passport
Disadvantages: You have to be online to use the service
...I needed an MS Passport to use Microsoft Messenger & Netmeeting, and as part of this service i got a hotmail account. Having a passport means as soon as i log on to the internet then MSN Messenger loads up and tells me if i have any new hotmail messages. This is a good feature - as i doubt if i'd check my hotmail regularly and this keeps me up to date on new msgs.
With a hotmail account you can subscribe to various different newsletters to keep you informed about the topics that interest you. Everything is easy to set up and well laid out. My main gripe is that you have to be online to use the service, to read and send email. But this will not change until we start to see the arrival of free POP3 email accounts (hopefully in the not too distant future)....

Beautiful black slab is consummate portable drive
Advantages: Stylish, easy to use, solid
Disadvantages: Sync capabilities lacking
...The 'WD Passport' series of portable hard-drives are a solid option for anyone. They look good, they are small and robust, and have good capacities that read and write at an acceptable speed. Connecting via USB they should pose no problem for people running a modern machine, and are overall just extremely useful for transfering large amounts of files between two computers, or otherwise backing up data or maybe a music collection.
The Passport looks great. It is a smooth shiny black slab, with opposite edges curved in opposite directions, making it seem very slick indeed. The top face has an embossed WD logo which is unintrusive, and is otherwise featureless. The underside is matte black and has 4 small rubber stands so that the hard-drive won't slip around the surface it is placed on. The rear edge houses the USB connections which can...

Getting a passport UPDATED OP
Advantages: Very efficient
Disadvantages: Still a hassle
...Over the last few months, what with one thing and another, I have been dealing with a lot of bureaucracies. Not a pleasant experience, especially as most seem to have screwed up quite simple requests - I'm thinking here of my bank, my local council, my employer... but enough, time and place enough to vent my rage elsewhere. What I was leading up to was saying that of all the bureaucracies, the Passport Agency is well on it's way to being rated as the nicest and most efficient.
I suspect this may have something to do with the shit they got the other year for being completely crap. You may remember those many pics a few years ago, during a slow August, of people queueing in the rain because their passports had vanished into a creaking system months before and not emerged. I seem to remember something about Ann Widdecombe handing out...
