Fundamental - Pet Shop Boys

Advantages: Superb return to form, sublime production and insightful lyrics
Disadvantages: Poltically may alienate some, not bleeding edge

...Fundamental by the Pet Shop Boys was released in May 2006 and is probably their most overtly political album yet. The title itself sets out their outlook and almost certainly refers to fundamentalism, particularly in the American approach to world management. It is also a return to form after a couple of somewhat lacklustre albums but sadly didn't quite set the charts alight on release. Although it peaked in the UK album charts at number 5, it wasn't around too long and the singles didn't make a huge dent apart from the first one, "I'm With Stupid" Sound wise, the welcome return of producer Trevor Horn has a slightly retro effect and it sounds in many ways like their first couple of albums but with a sheen that shows how their craft has developed over the years plus of course the sort of orchestral additions that Trevor Horn is...

Pets at home (the shop)

Advantages: Cheaper than other places for pet supplies
Disadvantages: Seems to be run by people who know nothing about the pets they are selling

...This review is based soley on my own experience. Back in august 2006 after much nagging from my 7 year old son i agreed he could have a pet rabbit. We went along to out local pets at home (Brentford) to choose a rabbit. It was the first time i had visited the store, it was clean and tidy and the pets looked well looked after. The male and female rabbits were ,in seperate enclosures which were clearly marked male and female. In the male side there were 2 lop eared rabbits, my son had chosen the one he wanted but as they were both cuddled up together i couldnt bear to seperate them so ended up buying them both. Thumbs up or thumbs down? It's the Pet Shop Boys new album Yes

Advantages: The Boys Are Back In Town
Disadvantages: Couple of weak tracks but still an overall thumbs up from me

Advantages: Wide range of products, staff usually friendly, competively priced
Disadvantages: sells livestock

...I generally make a trip to pets at home (Ayr branch) every second month to stock up on a few pet essentials and for a general browse. Pets at home stock a wide variety of products for most pets, and most products look of a reasonable to good quality. Products are priced competively, and in some cases are cheaper than buying online, if you consider that you would also have to pay delivery charges. The shop layout is good, and everything is easy to find. Some items are placed fairly high and as a person of small height, I sometimes have to ask for assitance in reaching items, although this generally isn't a problem-the staff have usually been very helpful. However, on the occasions I have been in pets at home, I have come away feeling less than happy at the condition the 'livestock' are kept in. In fairness, some of these points...

Pampering Supermarket for pets that we love

Advantages: Everything for your Pets needs
Disadvantages: none

...sized bags, A good selection of food and treats for your pet, bedding bags in various sizes , transport carriers, a selection of toys and many health and hygiene products for your animal too. They also sell complete starters kits that are suitable for Rats, Hamsters and Gerbils, and books on how to care for your pet too. There are products that they sell, that I probably not mentioned, but unfortunately, I cannot remember any more. This store is great for anyone with some sort of pet as it really does have everything for you pets needs or you just want to pamper them a bit. My Opinion:- ~~~~~~~~~~~ I find it that this store is fantastic as it has everything I need, especially with all the pets we have. Everything for your pet under one roof

Advantages: everything in one shop even a Vet
Disadvantages: could do with more people at their tills

...This shop not only sells food and toys for your pet but if your pets are not feeling 100% you will find a Vet on duty and you can take your pet here. The atmosphere in the waiting room here seems more relaxed and the prices for treatment tend to be cheaper than the local vets. Even if your animal is well it is worth a visit to pick up one of their many leaflets on looking after and feeding your pet. We are lucky to have a Pets At Home near our Sainsburys Store, so I go in here for cat and dog food as it is cheaper than our Sainsburys shop even. Although you must look out for the "special offers" which do last for several months. Usually they have offers such as 12 tins for the price of 9. I do find though that the single tins do work out more expensive. Loose dry food for both dogs and cats is very reasonably priced and a very...

DEFINITELY NOT 'AUF WEIDERSEHN PET' - OR IS IT?

Very REMASTERED - Very Pet Shop Boys

Advantages: Unique example of early nineties Pop

Gameplay: The idea of the digital pet is that you keep your pet happy in various ways so that he will be happy to walk around a mini Littlest pet shop pixelled world looking for pets.
