Norton Anti-Virus - made me feel ill!!!

Advantages: Easy to install, reasonably priced
Disadvantages: Extremely poor customer service

...had to restart the laptop but that i would automatically reconnect to their server to continue the conversation. Needless to say this didnt happen and at around 8pm, after having all of my saturday wasted i disconnected. It's extremely frustrating because I cant even refund the thing because it's been used, so I've had to give it away to someone else and hope they get better luck out of it. Plus i've had to shell out for another anti virus system. I'm sure Norton works well for most people, but for me the experience was a nightmare from start to finish, and I wont be buying Norton again, mainly due to the fact that their customer service left a lot to be desired and i got no where at all. ...I believe that norton anti-virus really isnt the best you can get for your money. i bought this from my local computer superstore roughly 2 months ago, and i can honestly say il never buy norton again. it takes way too much computer memory and can slow down your system a hell of alot! not only this, but it doesnt always install correctly and it's also pretty useless. it hasnt picked up a single spyware or virus on my computer since i bought it, yet a free anti-spyware software i got included in my google package picks up 20-30 infections a week! i had to get some live assistance when i first installed norton because a component didnt install correctly. it was a 10 minute wait and the responses were slow and painstaking. it's got alot of variety when it comes to features, but only about 2 of these actually need to be used...

Advantages: Easy to use, customizable, very competent and thorough virus protection.

Don't Be Silly, Protect Your Wil... no Computer.

Advantages: Cheap, easy to use, and effective.
