...The Medina or "Med" as is plastered on the outside in neon lights is a quaint Morrocan restaurant on the Prince Of Wales Road in Norwich. Every six or so months we have an 'old skool' night in which we try to get good food, good conversation (if you can call good conversation talking about partners, mortgages, work and life - a far cry from our college days - but I suppose we all have to grow up at some point!!) and a few drinks. ...my head off. I like a mild curry - one that you can taste and have a nice warm glow in your mouth. I don't like to obliterate my taste buds, hence I like medium curries. The bhuna is meant to be medium. Believe me, this one wasn't. The more I ate the more I knew I was going to regret it. My guts are not the best, but they can handle a medium curry. However, this was something else - a hot and GREASY curry was not going to agree with me. The service at the Prince Of India is quite good. They were friendly and couldn't do enough for you - however there have not been many curry houses where I have not experienced good service. The prices are reasonable, not expensive and not cheap. ...I was bought up in Norwich and left for pastures new when I was 16 (now 20). Since leaving I'm discovering all the wonderful sights that I took for granted in my childhood........ You can get to the Cathedral grounds two ways, one is via Tombland and the other (my preferred route) is by walking over Bishop Bridge and through Cathedral close. The original construction of the Cathedral, which is mainly in French and British limestone, was completed in 1145. Since then many reconstructions have taken place due to fires, storms and wars. What you see today was completed during Victoria's reign, with the beautiful west window installed in 1854. Here is where I'm a little unsure of what to say next...... I personally haven't been inside the cathedral for about ten years and I'm in Norwich so infrequently that I've not yet had time...
