Big Cow Cup
Advantages: is non-spill and can also be freeflow - the choice is yours
Disadvantages: the lid is too tight, loose spout cover, needs some grips on the cup
...the Amadeus Anyway Up Healthy Eating Big Cow Cup from Tesco and it cost £3.49 and can be found in the 'feeding' section of the Baby aisle. The Big Cow Cup holds 325ml of fluid, it has a Black and White Cow print on it and is for toddlers 12+ months. It comes packaged in brightly coloured Green cardboard and really stands out on the shelf. If you look on the shelf you will find a number of other Amadeus products including beakers with handles, soft spouts, beakers with straws or 360 cups etc.
Amadeus sell a range of cups, bowls and cutlery for babies and toddlers. As well as the Big Cow Cup, Amadeus also sell a smaller Cow Cup with handles for babies 6+ months (which is pictured). The Big Cow Cup is made in Britain; it's made from plastic and is of high quality. The Cup is quite thick and is sturdy; you won't be able to squeeze the sides as it...

Chicken & Leek in a Cup
Advantages: a quick snack
Disadvantages: none
...For the past few days I have been unwell with a migraine headache so I haven`t really wanted to eat much food. As I had skipped breakfast yesterday morning and my stomach was complaining I decided to have a cup a soup.
Chicken and Leek Cup a Soup
There are 5 sackets of soup inside a cardboard box, the box is blue and orange in colour and there is a picure of the soup in a mug. You can also see a picture of chicken, leek and onions, on top of the box you will find the best before date and opening the box is very easy.
It says on the box that there are no artifical colours or flavourings, that the soup is low in fat and sugar.
On the back of the box are simple instructions on how to make the soup, each sachet contains a powder, just open the sachet and pour into a cup.
Then add the hot water and give a very good stir...

The alternative cup
Advantages: It might just happen this way
Disadvantages: Most unlikely
...All I hear is "ENGLAND, ENGLAND" wherever I go at the mo. "We're gonna win the cup".
Right, ok. In your little pretend world, maybe but for the realists, getting out of the group will be an achievement.
So for those of you that want to go along the "Mickey Mouse" England World Cup Winners Route, here is the real Mickey Mouse results.
Group A France, Senegal, Uruguay, Denmark.
The opening game sees France entertaining the upstart Senegal Team. Knowing that the Senegalese team will be a pushover, the French decide to field a select 11 and rest their main players for later rounds of the world cup.
This means They are going with a 4-4-2 formation with Jean Paul Gaultier and Antoine from Eurotrash as the main strike force. Fabien Barthez even misses the game and lets Lovelable Resistance Fighter Rene Artois from Allo Allo to take...

great cup!
Advantages: easy!
Disadvantages: may spill!
...I really like this little beaker!
Both my nephew and my baby use these and they both got the hang of them really early on and with such ease!
Babies need to learn to drink out of mugs and cups instead of just from a bottle. It's important they learn how to drink without just sucking at a teet and I tried alsorts of beakers to try to get my baby and nephew to learn this skill and none of them seemed to work. They both would choke a lot or just pushed it away and weren't interested.
Eventually I tried this one and it's been the best we've had!
It's easy to use, you just fill it up and snap on the lid. The spout can fold back to prevent leaks although it isn't fool proof and my bag is often damp in the bottom or my car keys covered in juice so be warned! I wrap it in a muslin cloth now when I put it in my bag-good tip there...

The magic of The Cup
Advantages: great cup competition, traditional, Small teams can beat the biggest teams
Disadvantages: semi finals at Wembley? not good idea -should only be final!
...The Fa Cup is the oldest football competition and is steeped in history. It is such a great tradition in English football and is run by the FA (Football Association) in England. The first Fa Cup final was all the way back in the 1871-72 season. The reason why the Fa cup is so special is because it involves clubs of all standards including non-league clubs. This allows meetings of top teams against so called 'giant killers' who are the lower league teams.
The Fa Cup is a knockout tournament with ties for each round drawn at random. There are no seeds so this means any teams left in the draw at any stage can draw any team. The home team is drawn first and the away team second.
If the resulting game is drawn by the two teams, there is a replay (at the Ground for the team away in first tie) with extra time and penalties used to...

MOOOsic to my ears, a cup.... that doesn't leak!
Advantages: Non spill, funky design, easy to hold
Disadvantages: Spout cover is loose, can stain
...I have been through so many baby cups, I've found ones that leaked, dripped, clogged up and ones where the lid just falls off. So when looking again, I came across the Cow Cup....
What is the Cow Cup?
The cup I am reviewing is the Amadeus Anyway Up Healthy Eating Cow Cup (bit of a mouthful!). It is designed for babies 6+ and boasts that the cup doesn't leak or spill. It is a trainer cup with single piece insert valve so you can have slow flow or normal flow. There is another Cow Cup which is for toddlers aged 12+ from the same range.
Amadeus sell a range of other products such as bowls, other cups and cutlery designed for babies and toddlers,
Packaging
The cup came strapped to a box. The box was very easy on the eye, showing a field and a sky so very blue and green.. I assume this is as cows live in fields...

Half bottle, half cup
Advantages: easy transition from bottle to cup, soft spout, non spill
Disadvantages: a bit hard to find in shops
...The B Free (formerly Dr Browns) Bottle to Cup Trainer is the only cup I have succeeded in getting Leah to drink from, so naturally I am pleased with it. Although different babies take to different cups, this one does seem to be more bottle-like than any of the others, so would probably be successful for more than the average number of babies!
My health visitor told me to start Leah with a cup at five months old, which was a bit optomistic. I've offered her the cup frequently but it's only now at 8 months that she is starting to get the hang of it, and the co-ordination to manage it herself.
I tried free flowing cups first as I thought they would be easiest - and they are, but they are also very wet - perhaps fine on your own kitchen floor, but difficult to give to your baby on your friend's new carpet!
I moved on to valve cups...

Its time to change your Tefal Quick Cup filter

Disadvantages: Maybe you need to change it a little too often

The Red button with an integral filter-replacement reminder lamp and is used to dispense hot filtered water for your coffee and tea. world cup's
Advantages: comfortable, controlled, good boot overall
Disadvantages: lack of style, tore after 6 months
...I had these boots for 2 years then they became too small. I liked them so much i got another pair. Extremely comfortable, infact the most comfortable boots i've ever worn. they have a nice control and there just a nice boot. If i'd wrote this review a couple of months ago i would of given the boot top marks despite the lack of style. However when i was cleaning my boots, i fine a big rip down the side of the right boot. I was not best pleased as you can understand. Paying 65 quid for boots you except them to last. The first pair i had lasted 2 years until they were too small, but these lasted 6 months- not up to my exceptions of adidas. Overall i would recommend them as im sure the tore was just a one off but i'm still not best pleased. Im now wearing nike legends which are going along fine at the moment. For the world cup's i would give...
