Disadvantages: Confusing marketing, crappy D-pad. (wires)

Great Wireless pad

Advantages: Wireless, dont have to get up to turn on/off console
Disadvantages: Runs on battteries so you need a plug and charge kit really

...of a button on the controller and we have one of the best pads on the market. It may not be as comfortable as the PS2 or PS3 pads in my opinion but it does fit very well into your hands and feels quite natural (if thats possible). The buttons are all in easy to access spots so you shouldn't have any problems using combinations of buttons, with the trigger buttons working very well in driving games with them being pressure sensitive. The batteries dont last a massive amount of time but a plug and charge kit soon sorts that problem. Overall one of the best controllers out there....

...This is a review of the Nissan Note 1.4 with manual transmission & not the 1.6 auto as listed. My first acquaintance with the Nissan Note was on a rental car hire parking lot last week, it was my transport for three days. If we all purchased a car for looks alone I doubt if anyone would even consider this car. With its long wheelbase & box shape & those striking ?bug eye? headlamps it was never going to win a beauty contest. Post-It Notes!!

Advantages: convenient, stick relatively well, come in a wide variety of shapes, colours and sizes
Disadvantages: quite expensive, not too good for the environment

I expect that knows what Post-It Notes are and many of them probably own some but just for anyone who might not have encountered them before; they are little squares of paper (some can be rectangular shaped and other interesting shapes are now available). These little squares (or other shaped bits) of paper come in various different colours but the most popular one is yellow as they stand out when stuck on something so they are easy to spot but you can still read what is written on them as the colour is not too dark. These coloured bits of paper come in little pads (often of 100 notes) and have a strip of sticky adhesive on the back of them so they can be stuck to pretty much anything...

Great NotePad Alternative

Advantages: Postcardware, many features, a few eggs hidden...
Disadvantages: None. Unless you don't have any postcards.

...If you code your pages yourself in NotePad or write a lot, you'll soon get sick of how limiting that program is. EditPad is a piece of postcardware that's a great replacement, and can be downloaded from: http://www.jgsoft.com With EditPad you can have as many files open in the program so that there are no overlapping windows, or open a new editor. It's your choice. Plus, the standard shortcut to save works with EditPad, whereas it's not there with NotePad. That just annoys me so much... Another feature I like is the 'reopen' button -- the last 16 files are listed. Basically, this is a better version of NotePad; quite possibily the best clone you'll ever find. As it's postcardware, the only price you pay is that of a postcard if you like it....

...Most films that star Judi Dench tend to be very good and Notes on a Scandal is no exception. In this film which is based on a book by Zoe Heller, Judi Dench plays Barbara Covett a middle aged school teacher who has a quite pessimistic outlook on life and this doesn't change initially when new teacher Sheba Hart joins the school. Sheba Hart is a young fresh new teacher who, after the pressures of taking care of a young family and dealing with the increasing loneliness she begins to see in her marriage, takes on this new challenge as a way to escape her domestic pressures. Barbara, a bit of a loner herself, is almost scathing about Sheba but when Barbara helps Sheba out with one particular class room crises, a tentative friendship develops, and Barbara begins to see Sheba as a possible close friend and ally. Advantages: It's Bill Bryson, hilarious, excellently written, short stories

...I've read several of Bill Bryson's books and thoroughly enjoyed them, so when "Notes from a Big Country" came up on BookMooch I was looking forward to reading it without having to pay for it (I know the library is another option, but I like to keep books written by my favourite authors - and Bryson is certainly in my top 20). Rather than being a book as such, it is a collection of 78 short articles which Bill Bryson wrote for a column (which he was coerced into writing for!) in the Mail on Sunday's Night & Day magazine during 1997-1998.
