Carry case

Advantages: Prevents scratches and damage to your laptop
Disadvantages: Quite costly

...I have just brought a laptop to do some word processing at home. It wasn't a very expensive one, but I wanted to take good care of it so it wouldn't get dirty or scratched. When I brought the laptop I asked the shop assistant if they sold any carrying cases and he showed me a couple of them. The first one felt very cheap and didn't feel as if it would last for very long and it also felt that it would rip easy at the seams. So I asked him if there where any more to look at and he told me that there where a few others but they where more expensive. He produced this Toshiba carrying case and I instantly knew from the look of it that it was more substantial and a better quality material. It was £25.99, which was more than I wanted to pay for a case but I knew that if I brought the cheaper one then it wouldn't have lasted as long...

Review of Toshiba Carrying case Black

In case you need to protect your laptop!

Advantages: Great for protecting your laptop
Disadvantages: None!

...Reason For Purchasing: This has been a really great Notebook, or in my case, Laptop carrying bag, that I have used for over a year. I bought it to protect my laptop, whenever I was not using it and for carrying it around in. I have now given it to my daughter, as I have a newer pull along one. This one though, is suitable for storing your laptop or notebook in when indoors, but I would not recommend it for travelling, as it is not that padded enough for protection really. Tomtom - just in case! . . .

Advantages: Protects.
Disadvantages: None.

...First the technical stuff, the case is made of plastic, ethylene-vinyl acetate actually, which is a form of soft thermoplastic, including recycled materials, so you could say you are doing your bit for the environment. The outer covering is hardwearing Nylon. The carry case comes complete with a wrist strap, although personally I would not trust it. It has an improved zip, apparently the old one was prone to jamming. The picture Ciao have put up is of the old model, the new one is very similar, just a little more subtle. These cases are a good idea for keeping dust and scratches at bay, however, it may have been a better idea if the case was fitted with belt loops, so you could carry it on your belt, or a strap like binoculars have, rather than risk it slipping out of your pocket, or even leaving it in the car. PS2 carry case review

Advantages: Umm.. none
Disadvantages: Everything

...Unfortunately i have to give this product my very first "Very poor", as i bought one and was deeply inimpressed with the slow reactions and unhelpful assistance of the software manufactures. The Logic 3 PS2 Carry Kit barely fitted my PS2 slimeline, and when i did finnally push it in and ajust it so the zip would close, the carry kit did not protect the PS2 much, as one of the zips inside it scratched the edges of my PS2. The manufactures when i reported this to them said that it was my fault and that the carry case works for most slimeline PS2's. (???) They refused to replace the carry kit or the PS2 and i was left with the thing that is now in the rubbish bins. I reccomend this item to everyone that wants to break their PS2 or anybody that likes to waste money. This item has won my "Worst product ever" award of 2008!!...

The dell inspiron laptop is it a good buy!

Advantages: The look of the dell inspiron laptop seems more classy then other notepads. It is simplistic.
Disadvantages: Maybe Dell Have gone too simplistic with this model as the features are nothing to rave about

...The Dell inspiron laptop has an attractive classy look, it has a simplistic stream-line look. When I take it out its case I feel good about it because its not a big bulky embarassing computer thing. However, if your one for keeping everything clean and tidy and no smudges anywhere, then maybe you might be irritated by this laptop. With its glossy look smudges, smears and fingerprints stand out like a sore thumb. You feel like your constantly wiping it. You also have to watch what you wipe the laptop with as it is quite easy to scratch. A better idea for Dell would be to provide a cloth to clean it with, one they know wont damage your laptop. It would be a real bummer to scratch it while cleaning it. I also decided to get the colour black because there wasnt a lot of colours to choose from which I found quite dissapointing as...

The bottom of the bag is protected by hard plastic feet, which ensure the material part does not come into contact with rough ground, therefore preserving the base. The handle is reinforced with thick metal brackets attached to the bag, which allows manoeuvrability of the handle without putting excess strain on material fixings. Admittedly, it hasn?t been carried to and from work everyday but it is continually being carried from room to room, as there is no fixed home for my son?s laptop and therefore has to be put away each evening and taken out again the next day. Dell Inspiron 1545 - good entry level laptop

...The Dell Inspiron 1545 is an easy to use entry level laptop. Unlike two years ago when I bought my previous laptop, you can now get a number of Dell computers (of which this is one) direct from high street retailers. This is good if you want it in a rush and want a nearby place to handle any issues, but has the disadvantage that you can't customise your laptop to your own requirements to the same extent that you can if you buy it direct from Dell (which takes several weeks). Because Dell are so good at allowing customisation, you need to be very careful when you buy that you actually get the one you need - they are not all the same, so you can't just go into a shop and say "Give me your Inspiron 1545" - you need to be sure that it e.g. has a suitable processor, enough memory and a big enough hard drive for your needs. There is a really good padded laptop compartment which easily protects the laptop from knocks and bangs.
