I don?t know if was because of the fact that I was only about ten or eleven when the film came out , and so because of the ?cover? of the DVD , as a child , I instantly thought ?that looks boring? , and so I had always had that opinion of the film , despite the saying ? ...Have you ever sat at work daydreaming that one day Brad Pitt (feel free to delete/add name as appropriate) would walk in , see you an instantly fall in love and that you would marry and live happily ever after? ...As you can probably tell by not I love my chick flicks and this is another one that I enjoyed. With Hugh Grant and Julia Robert and Rhys Ifans who is one of the funniest people that I have seen in a film for a long time. William Thacker who is played by Hugh Grant owns a book shop in Notting Hill, where this film is set. One day the famous actress Anna Scott played by Julia Roberts visits the bookshop. One day a famous actress - Anna Scott - came in to the shop and had a look around and then left again - William just stood in amazement as the beautiful actress left the store. He never thought he would ever see her again but he ends up bumping into her again outside the street spilling a drink all over her top - being so apologetic he took the actress across the road to his flat and let her clean up - this started off a tale of romance between the two. ...I stayed at this hotel last weekend and can thoroughly recommend it. I was meeting an old school friend for a weekend of walking, chatting, theatre & good food. The Malvern Hills Hotel provided the perfect base for a wonderful short break. LOCATION: The hotel is located near the southern end of the Malvern Hills directly opposite Herefordshire Beacon (also known as British Camp). It is on the border of Herefordshire & Worcestershire, about 3 miles south of Great Malvern on the A449. This is an ideal position from which to explore the Malvern Hills - you can leave the car in the car park and walk directly onto the hills. For those who don't want to walk so far, the Malvern Hills Hopper (service number 244) stops at British Camp, so you can just walk one way and then get the bus back (or vice versa). Malvern Hills Hotel

Disadvantages: Slightly pricey & a busy car park in the daytime

...We've just come back from a weekend away at the Malvern Hills Hotel. Having gone down for a friends wedding we decided to stay for the weekend and do a bit of walking. LOCATION The hotel is pretty easy to find as it is on the main road through from Malvern to Ledbury. It is opposite the British Camp car park and is obviously a hotspot for walkers and day trippers alike. Locationwise it couldn't be any better. You can easily access the hills from the hotel in both directions and we found ourselves a circular walk which actually went straight past the hotel - ideal, no faffing around parking cars or figuring out how to get from A to B. The writing was phenomenal--humorous comments about the differences between England and the U.S. as well as clever remarks that many movies are lacking. The movie kept my attention and also left me feeling as if it were real, something that I had lived with the actors. Whether or not you like Julia Roberts or Hugh Grant, you should see this movie. See it with an open mind and let yourself fall in love with Anna and William. Not only is the movie one of the best, but the soundtrack is also unforgettable. Definitely a must see movie!...

...General The Russ Hill, Chatwood, is a 2 star hotel, with just over 150 rooms. It advertised in some places as a 3 star hotel, and can only be described as fast food style in a hotel. A MacHotel so to speak. We stayed here when waiting to fly out on holiday last year, and also when we returned. It was an online purchase from a hotel selling group and it was I have to say very cheap to purchase. You buy your room (only) no breakfast provided. The hotel is primarily catering for those going on package holidays. You can book your car in for a holiday stay also. We flew in from Belfast so did not have to avail of this service.
