...I do quite enjoy wandering around charity shops to see if there are any interesting books. Recently I was in a shop where you could purchase 3 books for £1, so I decided to pick up this one along with some other Sheila O?Flanagan books. I had read some of these books years ago and enjoyed them, but had largely forgotten about what they were about.

...I stayed at the Novotel Heathrow Airport in September 2010 for one night, prior to flying off to Cape Town. The reason I chose this hotel was that it was close to Heathrow and that the price was right.....just £55 on Lastminute.com - although I note at the moment that it is now listed as being £98. Because I literally just wanted a hotel that was clean, inexpensive and near to the airport...

...definitely the highlight of the trip. I noticed that not that many hotels in Rome have a balcony but I would say it is worth looking for. It was a good size balcony with marble effect decorative edges. There were two chairs and a table on it, so we could spend the late afternoon relaxing in the sun.
Other features in the room were air conditioning which worked well and always kept us cool at night. There...
