Hotel Adam - Milan can be cheap!

Advantages: A Bed, Good staff, Read on ........
Disadvantages: Food & Drink

...Well, when I visited Milan in February, we booked to stay in Hotel Adam about 4 weeks before we went. We got an offer on the accomodation and paid only £97 for 2 people for 3 nights which I thought was fantastic as this is a 4* hotel. There weren't many pictures of the hotel and I couldn't find a lot of information on it, we didn't know what to expect - but not a lot for that cost...

4 Star Hostel..... sorry Hotel!

Advantages: Near transport links
Disadvantages: 4 star is generous

...Location There are three airports in Milan the one I flew into was Bergamo. After debating the pros and cons of public transport we decided to brave the Metro service from the airport to the hotel. This turned out to be a good choice as the hotel is visible as soon as you exit the Metro station it is right in front of you. Review of Quality Hotel Adam, Milan

Novotel Heathrow: My top airport hotel.

Advantages: Near to Heathrow. Hoppa bus. Helpful staff. Pool. Good restaurant. Adequate room.
Disadvantages: Swimming pool access in reception.

...I stayed at the Novotel Heathrow Airport in September 2010 for one night, prior to flying off to Cape Town. The reason I chose this hotel was that it was close to Heathrow and that the price was right.....just £55 on Lastminute.com - although I note at the moment that it is now listed as being £98. Because I literally just wanted a hotel that was clean, inexpensive and near to the airport...
