Hotel de la Treille, Lille

Advantages: great position.Everything in walking distance
Disadvantages: our room was small

...The hotel is in the old part of Lille. everything is in walking distance, even the Eurostar station (only about 5-10 mins on foot) The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfasts had no 'hot' dishes, just lovely French sticks, croissants, pan au chocolate , the usual cold meats & cheese, cereals etc. Tea & coffee out of those big flask things! No bar. The bedroom was cleaned...

Review of Hotel De La Treille, Lille

Novotel Heathrow: My top airport hotel.

Advantages: Near to Heathrow. Hoppa bus. Helpful staff. Pool. Good restaurant. Adequate room.
Disadvantages: Swimming pool access in reception.

...I stayed at the Novotel Heathrow Airport in September 2010 for one night, prior to flying off to Cape Town. The reason I chose this hotel was that it was close to Heathrow and that the price was right.....just £55 on Lastminute.com - although I note at the moment that it is now listed as being £98. Because I literally just wanted a hotel that was clean, inexpensive and near to the airport...

Review of Novotel London Heathrow, West Drayton

No No Novotel

Advantages: I was able to get a 6 am flight without leaving home stupidly early
Disadvantages: Frustrating policies, stinky sink and the sofa bed was stupid
