NP30 Review

Advantages: piano sound quality, light weight/ portable, graded touch keys, affordable
Disadvantages: 76 note not full 88 note keyboard

...Given the price, the NP30 has a sensational sound quality, accurately reproducing a full grand piano sound, putting far more expensive digital pianos to shame! Although there are a few other keyboard sounds included, the main reason for buying an NP30 has to be for it's quality piano sound. The compactness and light weight of the 76 note keyboard is amazing...perfect for gigging and where space in a room is at a premium. How they fitted the graded touch in there is incredible. For young pianists learning piano for the first time, the NP30 is an attractive and affordable option. For pianists taking more advanced graded piano exams, who require the full 88 notes...the Yamaha P85, (basically NP30's big brother) is a very good option. Budget priced projector fits the bill

Advantages: Excellent value for money
Disadvantages: No fancy features

...I was tasked with finding a digital projector for work and it was left to me to source something reasonably priced that we could use for the occasional presentation. It didn't need to be flashy just something which would do the job and have a reasonable output. I looked around various sites and ended up looking around the Misco site as I have used them in the past and been happy with their service and they do stock a fairly wide range. I found the NEC NP100A on there which is an SVGA Projector with 2000 ANSI lumens at a price of £249.99 (£287.49 inc VAT). It looked like it would fit the bill so I placed my order. A Gamers dream the only SLI and Quad Core laptop

Loads of Power for your Handycam

...I recently purchased the Sony NP-QM91 from a seller on Ebay, new for just over £30, much less than you can get it for in online stores (about £80). It offers 5.9X the stamina of Sony's standard NP-FM30 battery which was supplied with my Sony DCR-TRV19E Handycam. According to Sony, the battery will last up to 725 mins (when recording through the viewfinder continuously), but a more realistic typical recording time (with the LCD screen and non-continuous recording) is 290 minutes. This is massively longer than the NP-FM30 which has a recording time of 125 mins(continuous/viewfinder) or 45 mins (LCD/non-continuous). This is a great advantage when you are stuck in the middle of nowhere with the camcorder and can't charge up the battery - running out of battery power is a real annoyance with the standard battery.
