A Load of Number Twos

Advantages: A couple of tracks aren't too bad
Disadvantages: Most of them are pretty lame

...'t sound all that interested again. Like others earlier on the album, this is another long track and again one that I'd lost interest in long before the final note. There's a drum beat at the start of "Deluxe" that reminds me of Terence Trent D'Arby's "Sign Your Name", but the music on this is more like a lounge act than anything else. The vocals are more varied than on most of the tracks, but with very little variation in the guitar lines, it does drag out a little, especially with a running time of more than four minutes once more. Thankfully at this point the album is over and I'm not at all sad to reach the end. Admittedly, when you go into an album (or, indeed, anything) with certain expectations, as I did here, the chance of disappointment is always increased. Number 1, Number 1, Number 1

Advantages: Spans all their career and has some real gems, great remastered sound
Disadvantages: No. 1 doesn't always mean great! 3 tracks are pretty bad

...Instead of having to buy each album to get an idea of how they changed their sound over the years, It's perhaps a far better option just to buy this. However , while the 27 tracks are hugely varied, certain pieces just shouldn't have made No. 1. Here's an analysis of each track: 1) Love me do: A little mediocre really, but considering they were new to the recording and music industry, It's not a bad attempt. Good harmonica playing from John, yet this song did not quite convince George Martin... Sounds like a revamped "I love you" sea shanty. 6/10 2) From me to you: Much more typical of their sound. ...The KRZR K1 is my first Motorola and I have to say, probably my last just because the text messaging facilities aren't as good as I expected! I bought it because I was after a pretty phone but this review will entail how it does and doesn't live up to my expectations! The Looks: This phone is very slim and sleek and is a good size for fitting in your pocket, but not so easy to find in a handbag that's filled with junk! Mine's a metallic blue colour, but I know they come in black and a variety of other colours (including pink!) now. The front cover depicts a huge number 1 (the number, not urine) with 4 music-playing appliances, from the past 40 years, surrounding it. Quite a good use of imagery, I felt; indeed, the inlay card, depicts a timeline of the past 40 years, including notable events in Radio 1's history, and dotted around, a few of the songs from the album. I don't even know why I bought this album - in fact, its typical of me, I went to Tesco for a 12-pack of toilet roll, and came out with this monstrosity. At £13.99, it wasn't exactly cheap, and I had to stop at the Spar on the way home to buy some loo roll, as I had forgotten it, and you know what their prices are like. ...I purchased this laptop for my wife to do do her training work on, also she didn't want to carry my luggable! We went for the 1GB RAM, 120GB HDD Linux model in Blue for about £250. Out of the box its a good looking machine, the glossy blue finish is nice, but instantly prone to fingerprint marks. It feels well built and durable. I comes with what some would call a protective sleeve, in a way it does protect but really all it protects is from dirt, it wouldn't protect it from any knocks or drops. The Linux Operating System is in my opinion VERY basic and highly kneecapped compared to what Linux can be, although there are guides on the internet to unlock more of its potential.
