...I am writing this review and opinion as a fair one, I have my personal opinions on him but this is not what this is about. No matter what has gone on in the past, Michael Jackson is a legend. He even has a monkey named after me lol. My next door neighbour from my last place idolises him and will not hear a bad thing said against him so for Christmas I decided to get her the Michael Jackson Number Ones. Now Ciao, tut, tut, if your trying to catch me out to see if I have got this cd, then I must point out to you that you have the wrong picture on the review heading. Acer Aspire One = Number 1!

...CK One was one of the first fragrances from the American fashion designer Calvin Klein. This perfume was launched in 1994 and is a fragrance suited to men and women. It is one of several perfumes in the Calvin Klein range, for example there are CK Be and Contradiction to name a few. The packaging of CK One is fairly minimalist. The box is a plain stone grey/beige colour with silver writing denoting the CK logo. The box is pretty uninteresting and does not contain any details about whether or not the fragrance has been tested on animals or not. What it does say is that the packaging is made from 100% completely recycled materials. There is a list of ingredients on the box, which apparently include Alcohol, Water, Parfum, EDTA, Tetrasodique (I do not know what the last word is as it was in French on the box). At the time of my purchase the advert was a gorgeous Giselle preparing, or being prepared, for the catwalk. I'm a sucker who likes to believe that if I see Giselle spraying it and walking onto the catwalk then when I do the same I will also become a tall, hot blonde model stepping out towards the flashbulbs. Secondly, the bottle itself seems to say, look at me, I'm simple yet classy. The use of gold is there to remind you of expense and worth and the square edges subtly hint that this fragrance is only for the distinguishable characters, who have the class to pull it off. Am I the one majority?

...So here I sit, casting my mind back to 2001 and the heavily volatile world of nu-metal. The genre was being define by pop happy bands and skewing what nu-metal was. The genre should have been thought of as melodic metal, with heavy power riffs and a good mix of heavy vocals and softer singing with a fair share of DJing thrown in. Instead it was warped in with an influx of pop laden rap rock and the genre of nu-metal was lost for ever. Thats why I feel bad for describing bands like Number One Son as nu-metal. In essence they are but to the masses they're not. Hopefully this will shed some light onto what the bands were actually doing on their first album.
