can be hard for child to fully understand

...My son has shown a real interest in learning his numbers and letters and could recognise both by the age of two and a half. We bought toys to support his learning but only as he was showing an interest ? we never wanted to put pressure on him to learn these things. When I saw this Alphabet and Number Fun set on the Early Learning website I knew it would be a great stocking filler for him...

...For my son?s second birthday we bought him a cheap set of number puzzles from Home Bargains. I think they cost us about £2 and were a cheap cardboard puzzle where you match numbers with the relevant picture that had that many of something e.g. three bananas.
