Nice furniture, slow delivery

...I bought a solid mahogany bookcase from this site back in early july. It has just been delivered in late september, though the site did state that delivery could take up to 16 weeks on this item. I did have some concerns due to a few reviews where quality was an issue. Now I have the product I have to say that it does look very nice. It is very solid and has nice lines, and it was shipped mostly assembled so I just had to slot the shelves in. Looking closely at this product it is clear that it is not constructed of 'furniture grade' wood - there are natural defects in the wood in just a few places, and these have been sloppily filled with some generic white filler before the item has been stained - generally in non-prominent places, though there is one on the front face of the lowest shelf that I notice at least! sturdy as an oak tree

...This side table is fantastic. Iv'e always loved oak. The table it's self is very sturdy and looks pretty hard wearing (especially when my little neice desides to jump all over it). It looks great in the bedroom or in the dining room (Iv'e had it in both). It also looks stunning if the lights are off and you have a candle or two on it. I recommend this side table to anyone who needs a sturdy table that looks great and is built to last. Also if it gets anything spilt on it which stains or tea rings from hot cups you simply put a piece of grease proof paper or an old cloth over the stain and use a hot iron on it in a circular motion for 10 to 15 seconds and the stain is completely removed. Usually I just go to the web site to get my 10 points but this time I was interested as I have been looking for a light oak nest of tables for months. Disadvantages: Take forever to arrive, go somewhere smaller and you can take your suite away
