Structure of the resort In the morning it was easy to see that actually our monster of a resort was going to be easy to move around, the whole resort was made of a huge reception and main entrance, around 30 hotel buildings, a main restaurant, a man made stream and lake, two swimming pools which were huge a beach and beach bar and lots of greenery and things i have probably forgotten. The Beach We spent a few days of our holiday on the beach, it was a long stretch and full of sun beds and umbrellas. Luckily thanks to the time of year it was, even though the resort was very full of people, it was easy to find a quiet corner if we needed one. ...Introduction: As I live locally, I'd never had much reason to stay at the hotel but was recently made an offer I couldn't refuse. Fantastic Hotel Shame About Sharm And Booze!

...We stayed here for two weeks all-inclusive at christmas and new year 2006/2007, we being my wife and I, and we picked it as it had very good reviews on trip advisor and was very reasonably priced. Sharm El Sheikh Sharm is a man made resort on the red sea coast and is basically just one straight road in the desert, running parrallel with the coast, with the airport in the middle and then many hotels either side of it. The hotels themselves are more like mini resorts than just hotels, and are either on the sea side of the road with sea frontage or the desert side with none but access to a beach over the road. Many of the hotels have more than one pool and some have fun pools with slides and water falls etc., they also have other things going on like zoo's, casinos, shopping centres etc.. We spent 10 days at the hotel in Easter 2005 and will definitely be planning a return trip! Best Hotel/Hostel i have stayed in

...As i am travelling for one year my budget for each place i stay is quite small so when i was going to fiji i looked for the best deal i could find and this was booking the smugglers cove resort in nadi through my VIP backpacker card. I boked a private double room with ensuite for my partner and i. GETTING THERE The resort has a free shuttle bus which will pick you up from nadi airport when you book it will ask you which flight you will be on so the shuttle will be waiting for you. We got the shuttle bus to the resort which is not far from the airport about a 20minute drive. When we arrived we were greated by the very friendly staff and got checked in. When we arrived they did not have any details on our second booking as we booked a dorm room for the first night then a double room for the rest of our stay as we were going away...

Eria Resort Hotel for Disabled People:

Advantages: accessibility,disabled and older clientel
Disadvantages: food,no good for families and younger people

...The resort is a brilliant idea but is let down by its poor food and the price of "extras" -- reminiscent of the "cruet-extra" mentality once associated with Blackpool landladies. The list of extras includes 3 euros to have breakfast in your room, 4 euros per day for use of the safe and 18 euros to use the jacuzzi. One evening we got a pot of tea for two from the bar. We got one and a half cups each and it cost 5.20 euros. The evening meal was 8.50 euros the first week and 9.50 the second week. A small bottle of water with it was an extra 1.50 [40 cents from the supermarket]. The Greek theme-night with dancers was an extra 10 euros each on top of the meal. They didn't charge us for it the second week as we could hardly escape it. The area immediately outside our room was by the pool and bar area. Music was playing from morning...

Peaceful family hotel/resort.

...I went to this hotel in July 07 with my wife & 2 children aged 4 & 16 months for a ten night stay.The reception was very clean & on entering the hotel the crystal clear sea was in view which impressed me alot.The rooms were fairly spacious,& cleaned & tidied every day,the balcony was sea view which was excellent.The meals were very good throughout the day there was always something f every1.The pool areas were large & kept very clean.The beach is small & quiet with very clear water.The resort was nice & quiet with a few gud pubs 2 take a break from the normal all inclusive beers/wines theres a superb pizza takeaway called Il Padrino just up the road from the hotel.We also took a very short taxi trip to cala d or & the beach there is even better with the sea the best in the med,plenty to do in the day f adults & kids & gud disco...
