...Top Gear Rally 2 is the sequel of Top Gear Rally, a racing game that left a lot to the imagination. Unfortuantely, this sequel is not a lot better. Featuring a strictly limited number of cars and tracks, the worst soundtrack I've ever heard and completely predictable AI, this game does not come in at the top of racing games. GRAPHICS: Even for an N64 game without the expansion pack, this game is graphically terrible. The picture is terribly grainy and looks ridiculous on a widescreen. There are virtually no curves; the polygon count for this game must be in the region of 4. SOUND: As I mentioned previously, the sound is awful. Don't try it through a surround sound system, you will just get 5.1 channels of terrible tracks of terrible quality. REPLAY VALUE: Zero. Do not play this game, let alone twice. Although there is...

OCZ Platinum 2GB Ram

Advantages: Super Fast
Disadvantages: A bit expencive for an average system!

...I purchased the OCZ 2gb (2 x 1gb) Platinum ram when i revamped my PC. What a difference it makes! I have never been able to open so many applications, and switch between them so quickly. The installation was very quick. One complication though. Although the packet does not tell you, the ram runs at 2.2 volts, not 1.8 which computer are default set to. This is because the ram is designed for gaming, and so is more power hungry. If the voltage is not changed the ram will not run as quickly, and there will be no point buying the ram. To adjust the voltage is easy, just enter into the bios settings of the motherboard, buy clicking one of the F buttons while the computer loads up. Advantages: Fast, fun, economical, gets the looks
Disadvantages: People think it is less of a car than it is

...I purchased my Rally2 last June, and before that i had a sirion SL , the Rally2 is an astounding car by any means! It has a 0-60 of 7.8seconds 115bhp, and if driven economically will do 45mpg Saying that i do not drive econmically and still return 40ish mpg. Stlying: Alot of people have very different views on this but all agree it is different to anythingelse on the road, the colour choice also makes a vast difference, mine has been mistaken for a new mini on several occasions, and even from the back a toyota yaris. Unfortunatley the paintwork is not the hardest and even though mine is metallic it does chip. Comfort: The ride is not soft, the sports suspension means one can feel the road, and the seats although relatively soft do grip your body. A/c is a must and is great for a car this size. Advantages: Fabulous car - what more can I say
Disadvantages: Massive insurance costs, shame about the cd player

...I bought a Daihatsu Sirion Rally 2 in January to replace me Fiat (see my review about that if you dare!!) I test drove practically every car for sale between 5 and 10 grand, and only 3 cars impressed me - the Micra, Citroen C3 and the RALLY 2. GOOD POINTS It looks good. It is manufactured in Japan to full UK spec - which means all the benefits of a UK car but with Japanese build quality. Daihatsu does well for reliability and quality - which is exactly what I was after. After that it was the drive that sold me; It drives like a really quite nice normal car, until you decide you are bored and put your foot down - around 4000rpm the engine will sound like you should change gear, until a minute later the speed kicks in. OCZ PC3700 Gold Edtion

Advantages: Very overclockable, Excellent quality

...corners better and so on. With out getting too technical, it is rated at speeds of up to 466 MHz at Cas level L 2-3-3-7. I achieved 524 MHZ at Cas 2.5-2-2-6, which is incredible! These clock speeds are achived by altering various settings and voltages to gain more Mhz from the CPU. This memory helped me to overclock a Pentium P4 2.4Ghz to 3.6Ghz! The above memory speed tests was done using software called memtest, which is downloadable off the Internet. This memory is packed with features, which I will not bore you with as it does get very technical and if you dont know a lot about the subject you will go to sleep! I don?t use anything else for all my new builds. The real proof is of course the time test. Not the Arcade

Advantages: Good graphics, extra tracks, extra cars, extended options.
Disadvantages: Unconsistant framerates, not arcade perfect

...SEGA Rally 2 is in many wasys a good release with almost arcade perfect graphics, handling and gameplay. Also with extra tracks and cars but this is not enought to save the game from the shoody conversion. Screen borders and ever present drop in frame rate as you approach corners mean this game will only be a dissapointment to those who have played the superior arcade version. The saturn version of sega rally was in all fairness closer to its arcade counterpart and on a system that is in a hardware wise fare more removed form the respective arcade board. This game could have achieved so much but hasty conversion in the rush to release it on schedule with the dreamcast has negativly impacted on the games quality....

All seventeen tracks are full of variety and feature six graphical themes. Starting with 8 name-brand cars, you earn eleven more as you race. You can make modifications to transmission, steering, tire types, and more. Play modes include an arcade mode, a time attack mode, and a unique 10 year championship mode. Rally 2 has a few graphical problems. But overall you'll see a great looking, well-presented game full of cool details.
