Advantages: IT'S COOL LOOKING
Disadvantages: YOU HAVE A DEADLINE TO MEET?.....DON'T USE!!

...a better result? gee!! not for me at least because, what i feel working with the product is CLUMSINESS, i practically have to look for almost every thing(buttons) to carry out some functions ( THANK GOD FOR SOME SHORT CUTS). One good thing that was done on it anyways, is the fact that you are presented with different "Save AS" options. But take my advice, if you have to work with MS office professional 2007, be sure you save your documents with the "97 - 2003" option because God help you if you are sending that finished document to someone like myself who has decided to stick with MS office 2003 ( atmost 2005) and believe it or not there are quite a number out there. My opinion - Microsoft Office Professional 2007 is cool, but i LOVE my reliable and dependable and easy to USE MS office professional 2003....

Complete Overhaul of the Office Suite

...General Opinion As an IT Trainer I have used and taught the Microsoft Office suite for 9 years and this is the most exciting change to hit our PCs in years. It is not just an upgrade on an old idea but a complete overhaul of the system. Gone are the old menus and toolbars and in their place is a new feature called the Ribbon. Where once you could turn toolbars on and off accidentally never to be seen again this version allows its users to play around with all the features without the fear of losing any functionality. For new users it is more intuative with the features being grouped together and being more visual. Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007, slow but perfect.

Advantages: New look, good for beginners, easy to instal, more professional tools
Disadvantages: Slower then the old one, hard to find sertain things in the new menus

...When i first got the new office, i already loved how the case looked. Really stylish and professional. Even the DVD had a nice touch to its looks. The only thing bad about the case is that i had to figure out how to open it correctly. When i put the dvd into my computer, it didn't gave any errors (as to be expected) and it asked me if i wanted to run it, which i did. After the smooth installation (which took about +-10 minutes), i could start it up and i was blown away by the new looks of it. The only thing i was looking for in the first 5 minutes was how to save and load my files, but then i descovered that the new big button was the new file->load/save menu. ...Microsoft office 2007 is a fantastic update to the other microsoft office packages, I purchased tis produced 1 year ago, and at first was a bit sceptical about how the new layout was done. However once i got used to the new layout and design of the product it wa clear how much easier this version was to use. With many other new extras like - choice of hedding wthout having to scroll through all of the font designs. Everything about this product is so much easier to navigate around. I think that this is because there are no drop down menus in this vertion of microsoft office, the drop down menus have been changed to static menus which go across thetop of your page, so there is no longer the need to go into the same drop dow menu several times as it stays fixed until you choose a different menu. Office 2007 -- No Compromises!!!

Advantages: The most user-friendly desktop publishing software out!
Disadvantages: Bit slow to start up.
