...The Office has to be one of the funniest sitcoms of recent times. Any one who has ever worked in an office environment can relate I think to the situations the actors find themselves in and probably have a similar story of their own as well. I think this is one of the reasons why it is so funny and became so successful. The Office I think was different because it approached the sitcom genre in an interesting way by having the format of a documentary. The office in question was that of Wernham Hogg Paper Company based in Slough, Berkshire. They had a camera crew in the office that basically filmed their every day lives in the office and all the drama and relationships that come with that. Complete Overhaul of the Office Suite

...General Opinion As an IT Trainer I have used and taught the Microsoft Office suite for 9 years and this is the most exciting change to hit our PCs in years. It is not just an upgrade on an old idea but a complete overhaul of the system. Gone are the old menus and toolbars and in their place is a new feature called the Ribbon. Where once you could turn toolbars on and off accidentally never to be seen again this version allows its users to play around with all the features without the fear of losing any functionality. For new users it is more intuative with the features being grouped together and being more visual. Advantages: Unique, Funny, Culturally Sound, Entertaining, Good Story
Disadvantages: Humor isn't suited to everyone, Maybe be hard to 'get' if you don't live in England

...The Office is a sitcom done is faux-documentary style, as a camera crew follow the life of the manager of a small-time paper merchants based in the fairly unglamorous setting of Slough, England. Shoes, and not just for the Office!

Advantages: lots of variety, designer, friendly staff, on the main street

...A few years ago one of the closed-down shops on Union Street, Aberdeen, was revamped and turned into an Office shop. Despite what the name suggests, you will not find stationary and electricals here! No, this sells something completely different - shoes! This is one amazing shoe shop, I'm thrilled we have one now! The shop is situated in between two clothes shops so it is hardly ever empty and perfect for when you are in need for some intense shopping! The downside to this though is the fact that these other shops also sell a selection of shoes at a cheaper price. Office always seems to be doing fine though. When you walk in the door, the till is directly in front of you. You will notice rows upon rows of womens' shoes on the shelves and displays around you. There are so many colours and styles that you simply do not know where to look...

...I upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007 and found that Office 2007 is different in appearance than Office 2003. No longer will you see the Toolbar as most of us are familiar with. What you see is the Office Button and at six tabs to use. Personally, it took me some time to get acquainted with the new interface that contains tabs instead of toolbars to click on the different tabs and see different categories to use and to use the dialog box launcher which appears on the right hand corner of some of the sections to work with more features for your tasks. One feature I do like in Office 2007 that is presented in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is the Smart Art Graphic which is located under the Insert tab and listed as the category of Illustrations. As I can recall with the previous versions, you had like six or fewer choices...

Microsoft Office Professional

Advantages: IT'S COOL LOOKING
Disadvantages: YOU HAVE A DEADLINE TO MEET?.....DON'T USE!!

...a better result? gee!! not for me at least because, what i feel working with the product is CLUMSINESS, i practically have to look for almost every thing(buttons) to carry out some functions ( THANK GOD FOR SOME SHORT CUTS). One good thing that was done on it anyways, is the fact that you are presented with different "Save AS" options. But take my advice, if you have to work with MS office professional 2007, be sure you save your documents with the "97 - 2003" option because God help you if you are sending that finished document to someone like myself who has decided to stick with MS office 2003 ( atmost 2005) and believe it or not there are quite a number out there. My opinion - Microsoft Office Professional 2007 is cool, but i LOVE my reliable and dependable and easy to USE MS office professional 2003....

...Well I have been eyeing this DVD up for some time but never bought it as hubby tells me I have seen it as I watched it with him but for the life I me I cannot remember ever seeing it. Last night I decided we would watch it as I really liked the look of it, the added bonus being that Richard Gere is in it! The film is about Zack Mayo who has had a rough childhood, his mother killed herself and he went to live with his Dad who is a Navy man so he spent his life moving around from port to port. He finally decides that he is going to try the Navy Officers recruitment course. Zack is accepted on the course and has to give 13 weeks of training which includes some daunting and gruelling tasks. The course is being run by a very strict Drill Instructor, who does start to have a bit of respect for Zack after he is pout through his paces but...

Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007, slow but perfect.

Advantages: New look, good for beginners, easy to instal, more professional tools
Disadvantages: Slower then the old one, hard to find sertain things in the new menus

...When i first got the new office, i already loved how the case looked. Really stylish and professional. Even the DVD had a nice touch to its looks. The only thing bad about the case is that i had to figure out how to open it correctly. When i put the dvd into my computer, it didn't gave any errors (as to be expected) and it asked me if i wanted to run it, which i did. After the smooth installation (which took about +-10 minutes), i could start it up and i was blown away by the new looks of it. The only thing i was looking for in the first 5 minutes was how to save and load my files, but then i descovered that the new big button was the new file->load/save menu. Now, i've never really did alot more with office then making some nice Graphs with Exel and writing alot in the documents, but with the new Word you can do alot, just by...
