Advantages: It is light, non-greasy and quick absorbant. Its low price and more quantity makes it affordable.

Oil of Olay Active Beauty Fluid

...I normally moisturise my face every morning and evening. I have slightly dry skin so if I don't, my face feels taut and dry. For Christmas I was given two different moisturisers, one of which was Oil of Olay Active Beauty Fluid. I find that this is very easy to spread onto the skin, being very light and not too thick, and it is also equally easily absorbed. On using it, I find my skin immediately feels nicer and softer. During the day I notice that my skin continues to feel softer. I may put a small amount on during the afternoon but usually only if I have had a swim, or the heating has been on in the office. I have no idea if it really gets rid of wrinkles because I have used some form of moisturiser for about 20 years now, having had it drummed into me by my mother to look after my skin!! Advantages: Glides on well, smooth and even
Disadvantages: chips easily, can require a few coats

...I have searched for ages for a nail varnish that lasts more than a day, doesn't require three or four coats and dries reasonably quickly. This product fails to achieve many of these, but is still better than most other varnishes. These nail varnishes come in many colours, by and large nice delicate pinks and blues, so if you're looking for hard-core purples or blacks, you won't find them amongst the Olay products. I have a beautiful blue, called Waterfall which looks great on and goes with most things. However, to achieve a reasonable depth, it requires at least two to three coats, but each does dry fairly quickly. I tend to leave each for a minute or two before re-applying and this is enough to be touch dry. The appearance of the nail varnish is really smooth and you can get away without using ridge filler, or even base coat...

Never too much Olay

...I have been using Oil of Olay (or Ulay as it used to be) since I was 14 years old. My mother used it and I started off by using hers. 25 years on and I'm still using it daily. It is a very light moisturiser and is quickly absorbed into the skin. I have tried other moisturisers along the way and find them heavy, leaving a greasy film on my face, so I always go back to Oil of Olay.Having a slightly greasy / combination skin Oil of Olay definitely suits me best. It has certainly helped me to keep younger looking, with many people expressing surprise when they find out how old I am. When I first started using Oil of Olay it was quite expensive, but it is a relative cheap alternative these days if you shop around. I've found Asda to be one of the cheapest places - £2.29 for to 100ml size. It comes in 100ml and 200ml bottles...

Is Baby oil the 'oil' in Oil Of olay

...I've just got to the end of my bottle of Olay Daily Renewal body wash. Now, I didn't buy it for myself, it was one of the many things that my sister gives me after her skin reacts badly to it. I was half way through the bottle when I started investigating petroleum products/by-products and reluctantly decided to finish the bottle because it is quite expensive. I suppose it goes without saying that I won't be buying it again for the petrolatum (mineral oil/baby oil) reason. On to the product: They have changed the bottle since I was given it, but my bottle is gold black and white. On the front it boasts 40+ uses with the olay puff (any old puff thing you can buy cheaply will do - which is a plastic net that causes foaminess when used with shower products!). Apparently the wash is supposed to give your skin 24hr moisturisation...
