Firstly the box is light pink and dark pink with a picture of the bottle on the front of it. On one side of the box it gives beauty tips. Advantages: SPF 15; doesn't feel at all heavy; doesn't irritate skin
Disadvantages: Expensive, unpleasant scent, doesn't blend or moisturise well; makes face shiny

...This summer I was looking for a tinted moisturiser, because it seemed better to wear a tinted moisturiser during hot weather rather than a standard moisturiser and slightly heavy foundation. It's more comfortable to do so, and lets your freckles shine through a bit, which I find are naturally more apparent in summer. I was looking for a tinted moisturiser with a nicer texture than the ones I remembered from being a teenager, and with reasonably good coverage as some of my veins can be seen through my skin, which is a little bit unattractive, perhaps! Advantages: Effective moisturiser, provides broad spectrum sun protection, good value for money.

...Olay Complete Care Day Cream comes in a jar which contains 50ml of the moisturiser. The jar makes it very easy to get the amount of product that you want out, as you can just scoop it out with a finger. However, this does mean that it is easier to contaminate the contents with bacteria. A jar is the ideal packaging for this product though, because it is a cream, and too thick in texture for a bottle. The texture of the white cream is quite thick, but it smoothes over my skin quite easily, without much dragging. It absorbs in quite a short time, and feels very comfortable on my face and neck. It provides an ideal amount of moisture for my normal-dry skin (it is especially nice for the winter months, due to the thick texture), and makes my skin appear to glow slightly. ...i need to drastically change my routine before i caused irreperable damage and spent hours trawling the internet for advice. It turns out that the best products to use are ones that are non-comedogenic. This means that they wont block your pores. This is where Olay comes in. Now im not saying that Olay cleared my spots- i used Dermalogica for that. But what it did do was repair the over-dried and highly sensitized skin that had developed on my checks, temples and around my mouth from using the harsher products to begin with. The equivalent moisturizer in the Dermalogica range unfortunately did nothing to repair the damage caused from before. Classic Care Rediscovered

...’m not sure whether my change of heart has come from smart marketing on Oil of Olay’s part or just the fact I’m (a little) older now but I succumbed a bought a tub a couple of months ago. To be far Oil of Olay have made an effort to update their packaging. This product used to come in a very boring and generally unappealing white box with a black Oil of Olay logo (see picture). It very much looked liked a moisturiser from a few decades before! Recently Oil of Olay ‘Complete Care’ cream has had a much need makeover. It still comes in a small box about 5cms tall and 6cms wide. The white colour remains however it has now been matched with gold and this coupled with a modernized logo and far less dated font makes the product look so much more appealing.
