I'm sure we don't need to split hairs and risk the wrath of the other 4 writers, but I do like to get the title right. Of course if you've read the first 2 reviews I wrote earlier on Olay products, this additional accompanying Day cream is supposedly 1 of about 6 differing but according to them,an essential part of the complete care package...

bio-oil face cream

...I have been using this face cream for quite a well now. I started to use it when i was in a car accident and i have quite a large scar in between my eyes. It's shaped like a backward L. For a year or two i kept putting on loads of make up to cover the scar. But i noticed this face cream and started using it twice a day. The redness in my scar has started to fade. The scar is really not noticeable now. I find the cream very reasonable. It's not too oily and goes on really easy. It has totally given me the confidence to not wear make-up and the scar has totally faded. The cream didn't irritate my skin, it made it feel soft and full of life again. The scar in between my eyes was quite sensitive but it ain't now thanks to Bio-oil. The product is great value for money and you can get it from most stores....

Bio-Oil: Good Replacement for a Night Cream!

Advantages: Unique product, useful for many skin problems, feels good
Disadvantages: Expensive, a bit greasy, results vary for each person

...skin, so hopefully it will be useful in the future! Due to the richness and greasiness, unless used very sparingly, I would recommend using this product at night, perhaps as a replacement for a night cream (which makes the price more justifiable anyway). (Note: I do not believe there is another product on the market right now which uses the same ingredients, although there are cheaper alternatives which do exist, but these do not contain the "magical ingredient" Pur-Cellin Oil present in Bio-Oil, so this again may justify (or explain) the price!)...

...Most or all of us have heard of Olay at some time or another, it's been around for years. Olay first begun in the 1950's by Graham and Dinah Wulff in a home laboratory, the batch even being mixed by hand. Within five years Olay was a hug success covering many countries. Today Proctor and Gamble have the Olay name firmly under there belt. I must admit to not having used this brand up until a few months ago, I do think that we should pay attention to our skin, mine gets very dry in the winter months on my face, and before Christmas needed a new moisturising day cream, and although I'm not a skin flint I just cannot bring myself to paying £30 or £40 for a face cream, so shopped around a little and thought I'd give this a try, after all it cant be that bad for the amount of time that it has been around. Advantages: Effective moisturiser, provides broad spectrum sun protection, good value for money.

...Olay Complete Care Day Cream comes in a jar which contains 50ml of the moisturiser. The jar makes it very easy to get the amount of product that you want out, as you can just scoop it out with a finger. However, this does mean that it is easier to contaminate the contents with bacteria. A jar is the ideal packaging for this product though, because it is a cream, and too thick in texture for a bottle. The texture of the white cream is quite thick, but it smoothes over my skin quite easily, without much dragging. It absorbs in quite a short time, and feels very comfortable on my face and neck. It provides an ideal amount of moisture for my normal-dry skin (it is especially nice for the winter months, due to the thick texture), and makes my skin appear to glow slightly. Make-up goes on well afterwards, and the fragrance is nice and light...

Bio Oil

Advantages: Reduces stretchmarks, uneven skin tone, scars etc

Advantages: Soft, Light, Very easily absorbed, lovely light scent. keeps skin soft and smooth and happy.

...I love Olay Daily Renewal Cream. I have been using it for over six years, and I have found it to be the best of all Olay face creams. It smells divine. It is very lightly scented in an unobtrusive way. The texture of the cream is very light and soft and is so easily absorbed into the skin. Indeed it is in my view the lightest of all the Olay creams. I have tried others, and discontinued them, either because, they felt more heavy and oily or because they just did not smell as nice as as Daily Renewal Cream. My skin literally glows, and my complextion is smooth and lovely. I am however concerned that this product is no longer easily available on shop shelves, and would like to know why this is so. I desperately hope that it has not been discontinued, because that would be very tragic for me. It is a great product....
