Oil of Olay "USED" to be the best daily facial

Advantages: The former product kept my skin soft and smooth and actually looking younger
Disadvantages: I do not like the fact that you are selling basically a piece of cloth with soap for facial cleans

...A faithful DAILY user for over 30 years. Low and behold, this latest change in the daily facial cloths refill has be boiling. Heck, I might as well buy the soap and use a towel to get the friction and results I USED to receive from the front and back of the cleansing cloths. Now, when scrubbing my face, it just feels like a piece of thin cotton with soap. WHAT HAPPENED? After this refill, I will be seeking a new facial cleanser that doesn't change for the worse. Did you really think it was okay not to include the srub side on the cloth, especially for the same price? If I don't have options to choose the type of facial cloths I need for my skintype, this will be my last box. A faithful, faithful consumer for years, who is extremely disappointed........

Daily facials in a box

Advantages: Quick, easy to use, no bacteria build up since individual cloths, removes makeup and also cleanses and tones
Disadvantages: a little pricey

Is Baby oil the 'oil' in Oil Of olay

Advantages: can't think of any
Disadvantages: strong thick scent, mineral oil in there, expensive etc.

...I've just got to the end of my bottle of Olay Daily Renewal body wash. Now, I didn't buy it for myself, it was one of the many things that my sister gives me after her skin reacts badly to it. I was half way through the bottle when I started investigating petroleum products/by-products and reluctantly decided to finish the bottle because it is quite expensive. I suppose it goes without saying that I won't be buying it again for the petrolatum (mineral oil/baby oil) reason. On to the product: They have changed the bottle since I was given it, but my bottle is gold black and white. On the front it boasts 40+ uses with the olay puff (any old puff thing you can buy cheaply will do - which is a plastic net that causes foaminess when used with shower products!). Apparently the wash is supposed to give your skin 24hr moisturisation...

Olay's promise: "Wet cleansing cloths thoroughly cleanse dirt and make-up, even waterproof mascara. Effective, yet gentle enough for everyday use." They are suitable for normal/dry and combination/oily skin, so that covers just about every skin type. ~~~How to use....~~~ Simply wipe over your face and they will remove all traces of make up. The cloth is textured in sort of squares, and they are lightly scented. ~~~How long do they last?~~~ Well there's 25 wipes in each pack so it depends how often you use them. Advantages: Soft, Light, Very easily absorbed, lovely light scent. keeps skin soft and smooth and happy.
Disadvantages: None that I know of. I just love the product.

...I love Olay Daily Renewal Cream. I have been using it for over six years, and I have found it to be the best of all Olay face creams. It smells divine. It is very lightly scented in an unobtrusive way. The texture of the cream is very light and soft and is so easily absorbed into the skin. Indeed it is in my view the lightest of all the Olay creams. I have tried others, and discontinued them, either because, they felt more heavy and oily or because they just did not smell as nice as as Daily Renewal Cream. My skin literally glows, and my complextion is smooth and lovely. I am however concerned that this product is no longer easily available on shop shelves, and would like to know why this is so. I desperately hope that it has not been discontinued, because that would be very tragic for me. It is a great product....

...Yes, I?m on the trail of special offers again, in my local Superdrug as usual! PACKAGING I bought the refill pack so there may be a difference to the normal packs. The refills come in a box with the Olay logo with the words Daily Facials on it; the cloths themselves are enclosed in a plastic wrapper inside the box. There?s not a lot else I can say about that (I watched Forrest Gump on Sunday!) THE CLOTHS Initially the when the cloths are taken out of the plastic wrapper each cloth is folded into quarters with a shiny side up. This shiny side is what will create the lather when the cloth is made wet. Advantages: One product to thoroughly cleanse your face, instead of using different bottles and cotton wool etc.

I normally use quite expensive products to cleanse and tone or a facial wash which has always left my face feeling ready for moisturiser. CONTENTS When I opened the packet I discovered a sealed packet , which when opened revealed pieces of textured cloth,with a slight soapy smell, and unusual feel, heavy, as if it contained moisturising products.
