...I have been using this face cream for quite a well now. I started to use it when i was in a car accident and i have quite a large scar in between my eyes. It's shaped like a backward L. For a year or two i kept putting on loads of make up to cover the scar. But i noticed this face cream and started using it twice a day. The redness in my scar has started to fade. The scar is really not noticeable now. I find the cream very reasonable. It's not too oily and goes on really easy. It has totally given me the confidence to not wear make-up and the scar has totally faded. The cream didn't irritate my skin, it made it feel soft and full of life again. The scar in between my eyes was quite sensitive but it ain't now thanks to Bio-oil. The product is great value for money and you can get it from most stores....

Bio Oil

Advantages: Reduces stretchmarks, uneven skin tone, scars etc
Disadvantages: A little bit expensive but worth it

...particularly on your face which are caused by sun exposure then Bio Oil can also help to reduce the appearance of this. I don't have any blemishes or uneven skin tone so I can't comment on how Bio Oil helps to reduce the appearance of the marks. Ageing Skin ~ The Bio Oil helps to reduce the appearance of my sagging skin. I know I'm only 22 but I do have a little bit of sagging around my belly which was caused by losing the pregnancy bump. My skin was stretched to the limits and lost all elasticity making me look as if I had 90 year old granny stomach. The Bio Oil has helped to make my skin look less wrinkled and gave it more elasticity. My skin feels a lot smoother, sculptured and moisturised and it looks as if the wrinkles have somehow been ironed out. All of my wrinkles haven't disappeared, I still have a few but they are less noticeable...

Olay gives complete care to prune faces!

...I've never known anyone to dis this product! Lets face it our Mums and Grandma's are usually known for loving it through the generations! One Oil for Everything...

Advantages: It works really well, is versatile
Disadvantages: Seems like an expensive buy..but you realise it's worth it

I think I paid £8.49 for my 60ml bottle, which sounds a lot, but it does, as I had expected, last for a long time. I've had my bottle for 3-4 months of almost daily use now, and I'd say I've got about another month's use in there yet. Oil of Olay Provital Energising Face Wash

Advantages: One of the Best Facial Washes Ever.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive but well worth it.

...Oil of Olay's Provital product range is one of the best ranges they have ever bought out. I have recently tried their Energising Face Wash which is specifically designed for the more mature skin. The face wash has a nice cream formula which foams up really well when put on the face, and removes make up and other residues really easy, leaving no trace of makeup especially hard to get off make up like mascara and eye liner. I was very impressed with this product, after using it my skin felt really soft, some facial washes can dry out the skin, but this one works really well, must be the moisturisers that have been added. Although it says its for more mature skin I am only 26 years old, but I use it, and I think this would do quite well to keep the old wrinkles at bay....

Bio Oil - A good all round product

Advantages: Specialist product, easily avaliable at chemists or supermarkets, natural
Disadvantages: Expensive (but will last a long time)

...Anyone who has ever suffered some kind of skin defect like scarring or stretch marks will often understand how bad scars left over from any life experiences that cause scars like pregnancy and acne can leave someone feeling. Personally, when I was younger I did suffer from moderate acne and I have a couple of scars left over from spots I tried to pick. One thing I do like about Bio Oil is that it is natural, as I have found natural products to be much better than using the 'specialist' products like Clearasil that claim to fight spots and redness and so on, but in truth really I found that they only made my face worse. Ever since I started using natural remedies, I found that they worked much better and now I have very few breakouts, it's just the scars left I have to remove... Having seen the adverts for Bio Oil and hearing about it...

Bio Oil

Advantages: Gives the skin a smooth even appearance.
Disadvantages: None really, perhaps a bit too greasy if you put too much on.

...I decided to try Bio-Oil after spending lots of money on other products to try and eradicate the blemishes and uneven skin tone on my face. After a week of using Bio-Oil I could see a difference in my skin ton, brightness, and also the smoothness of my skin. It also helped to smooth out wrinkles under my eyes, an area which I have tried many products on and none of them have made a difference. It also helped smooth the appearance of visible pores around my nose are. As long as you don't use too much it is not greasy ans sinks in straight away. I now use it everyday and would not buy anything else. I have also found that although it seems quite a small bottle, it has lasted me weeks as you do not need to use very much at all....
