Oki toner cartridge - Professional, excellent quality printing.

Advantages: Professional quality. Simple to change, good colour
Disadvantages: Expensive, not sure if it is recyclable

...I have been using the Oki toner cartridges for apporximately 12 months. In my opinion the quality is fantastic, clear and precise. When a notice pops up telling me to replace the cartridge it can be ignored for quite a considerable time, even when running low on certain colours I have still found that the quality is good. When the time comes that the colour reproduction is not good enough then as long it is not for an important document I have found that by just simply removing the cartridge, shaking it about a bit and replacing it, it can bring the colour back to life and will add extra life to it.On the whole I feel it produces professional print quality. I think it is an expensive item but have not compared the longevity against an alternative product....

...print a lot of text you would definately do worse than to get a hold of one of these printers. For business use they are outstanding. I also have an OkiJet 2500 for graphical stuff, so it is obvious that I am a big fan....

Review of OKI Microline 520

OKI lazer printer cheap and cheerful

Advantages: Cheap, Quick
Disadvantages: Heavy, running cost

...The Oki C3200 lazer printer was great value purchase. i got mine for £160 which for a lazer printer full of toner is actually quite cheap. the printer its self is quite big and can only do up to A4. it also weights a bit so pick a spot where it will live because you wont ever feel like moving it. Using 4 color toner cartridiges (cyan, magenta, yellow, black.) the printer preduces great quality prints, thats once it warms, takes about 2mins in my experience. once it does warm up it just spits out the pages one after another almost no pause between pages, it seems to take less than 2 seconds per page. For the size of this printer i was suprised that it only holds 500 sheets of paper which means regular trips back to it. the upkeep can work out expencive depending on how much you use it toner prices start at £24 for 1,500 page...

Review of OKI B 4100

Oki 5600n Is Amazing!

Advantages: Low cost, relatively quiet, good software pack & support from Oki
Disadvantages: Wish it was A3 for this price but nothing else springs to mind

...When Oki released their colour printers a few years ago the print results were mediocre to say the least. Colour lasers had cleaner sharper lines and the finish was simply better. In the past couple of years Oki have refined their technology and printer software to bring us a range of machines that are truly amazing! The C5600n was my printer of choice. It warms up quickly, is reltively quiet and produces laser quality fast prints at a relatively low cost. The user interface is excellent, printer operation is simple and the replacement of toners, drums and fuser unit very simple. There are good offers around from main line Oki dealers so shop wisely but deals can be found. I would be wary of buying second hand as these machines can be given hard lifes but for a personal/office printer of this quality at a sub-£400 price...

Oki-ni will do very nicely

Advantages: You'll never meet someone wearing the same item as you (only 30 of each product are produced)!, Stunning "gallery" to view products
Disadvantages: Relatively high premium, around 30-60% than the equivalent designer product, rather slow delivery and web-site

OKI B4100 LED page printer

Advantages: Inexpensive cost per page, quick, parallel and USB interfaces
Disadvantages: no printed manual, no cables, slightly tricky to get going

...that I'm getting between 10 & 15 pages per minute output which is stupidly fast for light to moderate personal use. As is usual with laser/LED printers there is slight page curl in the output - but it is just that - slight. Given 10 minutes on a flat surface it's almost totally flat once more. In operation it has a noticable fan noise - although it's no worse than any other laser/LED printer I've ever used in my opinion and it's considerably quieter than the mechanism noise on some of the inkjets I've had in the past. Toner costs around £20-25 for 2500-3000 pages (depending upon how it's measured) which equates to 0.7-1.0p per page in toner costs. The drum has a quoted life of 25000 pages, but perversely currently costs more than the printer itself, which seems totally mad. When mine reaches that stage of its life, I shall...

Faster than a fast thing going fast !

...Oki make good printers, the Oki B 4600 is a very fast mono printer. Faster than a fast thing going really fast! This is great if you're printing off lots of copies in a hurry, or ideal for printing customer receipts or information when the customer is waiting. This printer is quite small so is good if space is a problem. There are a couple of minor things to watch out for, the drum on this machine seems to get damaged quite easily, if your taking it out and putting it back in, to clear a paper jam or something, be really careful not to let anything come into contact with the surface of the drum. Also the front control panel looks nice but is easy to mark. Like I said these are really minor issues. The main point about the Oki B 4600 is speed of print with reasonable quality, if that's what you're searching for you've found it....

Smallest A3 Printer EVER

Advantages: A3, Small, Fast with great picture quality

We have finally gotten around to taking the decision to upgrade and thoroughly reviewed all the options and reviews on the Internet and came across the OKI C8600. Very Good Basic Dot Matrix Printer

Advantages: Quick reliable dot matrix printer
Disadvantages: Just remember it is a dot matrix

...I have used these printers on and off for over 12 years. They are generally reliable and good for a 9 pin dot matrix. Some early ones had problems with weak drive gears, but later ones are fine. I had to go through about 50 of these looking for dodgy gears and replacing them!!!!! They support both IBM and EPSON control codes and have an easy to use menu which prints as it goes. They are available with both Centronics and RS232 sockets. Extras include various tractor feed modules. For business use with pre printed stationary they are excellent and are my favourite DMP. Scoring Picture Quality, well it is a dot matrix hence poor. it is also mono. In general OKI printers are very good, we have a colour laser at work which is very good and I will review it and the bigger version we get our customers to buy. My only...
