...I have used the original oil of olay for years, it is one of those things that i have never bothered to change. It suited my skin and was a decent price. I was running low and asked my sister to pick me up some more, seeing as she works in Boots. She turned up with this one, i pointed out to her ( very nicely!) that this was not the one i asked for and was also about 4 times the price. To which she said that she thought she would treat me ( she's up to something!) Then i noticed it was an anti-ageing moisturiser ( cheeky cow! ). I very politely pointed out that she is only 4 years younger than me and if she keeps reminding me about this she will need more than an anti-ageing product! So just to spite her i gave this a go. A definate let down by Olay.

Advantages: Latest product from Olay
Disadvantages: Everything, leaves skin shiny and sticky.

...I have always been a lover of Olay products, and when I saw the advert for this new 'wonder' cream I thought I would give it a go. Although this product is over £20.00, judging by the advert it was supposed to give your skin a luminous effect. I was not at all impressed by this product, a definate let down by Olay. Granted the impressive packaging looks really fancy, and you would expect a cream that costs over the £20.00 mark to work wonders, but in fact the cream was in my opinion no better than the cheaper Olay creams on the market. The cream itself is a mousse, which is quite different, and on application it glided on easily, but I found that the mousse did not absorb very well into my skin and left my skin feeling sticky and somewhat shiny. Hooray for Olay!

Advantages: Very easy to apply, doesn't streak, no nasty smell
Disadvantages: Needs more than one application for effect, makes my eyes sting

...Since Oil of Olay have changed to simply Olay, they have increased their product range no end. There are so many different sub-brands, like Total Effect and Touch, that I am losing track and I?m not sure which markets they are going for anymore. Not only is the range somewhat confusing now, but the differences in price range is quite large. I bought this moisturiser as I received a half price voucher and because I have sensitive skin on my face but find that I have no adverse reaction to Olay products.
