Olay Daily Renewal Cream

Advantages: Soft, Light, Very easily absorbed, lovely light scent. keeps skin soft and smooth and happy.
Disadvantages: None that I know of. I just love the product.

...I love Olay Daily Renewal Cream. I have been using it for over six years, and I have found it to be the best of all Olay face creams. It smells divine. It is very lightly scented in an unobtrusive way. The texture of the cream is very light and soft and is so easily absorbed into the skin. Indeed it is in my view the lightest of all the Olay creams. I have tried others, and discontinued them, either because, they felt more heavy and oily or because they just did not smell as nice as as Daily Renewal Cream. My skin literally glows, and my complextion is smooth and lovely. I am however concerned that this product is no longer easily available on shop shelves, and would like to know why this is so. I desperately hope that it has not been discontinued, because that would be very tragic for me. It is a great product....

The beauty fluid name wasn't added until 1970, Proctor and Gamble acquired the company in 1985 and also started to extend the range to include body washes, cleansers and creams. ...and smell NICE into the bargain works wonders. And this is where Olay comes in. Now I know Olay has something of the quaint & old fashioned about it,which to classical old me is one of its strengths..they've been around the block several decades now (sounds like me..lol..)and so one might sensibly suggest they MUST have picked up a thing or two for the sake of research in their time,-surely?? ) .Also,they're what I would term as the financially safe offers. Is Baby oil the 'oil' in Oil Of olay

Advantages: can't think of any
Disadvantages: strong thick scent, mineral oil in there, expensive etc.

...I've just got to the end of my bottle of Olay Daily Renewal body wash. Now, I didn't buy it for myself, it was one of the many things that my sister gives me after her skin reacts badly to it. I was half way through the bottle when I started investigating petroleum products/by-products and reluctantly decided to finish the bottle because it is quite expensive. I suppose it goes without saying that I won't be buying it again for the petrolatum (mineral oil/baby oil) reason. On to the product: They have changed the bottle since I was given it, but my bottle is gold black and white. On the front it boasts 40+ uses with the olay puff (any old puff thing you can buy cheaply will do - which is a plastic net that causes foaminess when used with shower products!). Apparently the wash is supposed to give your skin 24hr moisturisation...

...As far as I can make out the product I'm reviewing is the revamped one of the one on the review photograph. I cant see anywhere that the one on the photo still exists and mine does so seeing as no one has put a review here anyway I shall! So just to be clear I'm Reviewing Olay Daily Cleansers, Refreshing Toner for normal/dry & combination skin. The Packaging: It's a 200ml Clear plastic recyclable bottle with a dark blue screw on/off lid. A turquoisy/light blue liquid in it. On the front in black writing it says Olay. Olay regenerist daily regenerating serum

...I was never really big on Olay products and I used the regular Olay moisturiser only because friends recommended it and it seemed non greasy encased in that nice pink bottle. Anyhow, after watching the powerful commercials for the Olay Regenerist daily regenerating serum on TV, I was totally taken in and I decided that I will have to give this attractive face lotion a try. I bought the 75 ml bottle for 11 pounds at Sainsbury. I am sure it can be found cheaper on sales and may be more expensive on regular price. I thought the price wasn't too bad considering the quality of the lotion and the little amount it is supposed to be used in. It is packaged nicely in a black-red plastic case that can be opened easily from the top. There are instruction behind the sleek white bottle with the black lid. The lotion is very easily dispensed...

...I am a big fan of facial scrubs. I find they keep my skin looking soft, fresh and healthy. A couple of months ago, I ordered some toiletries from Boots.com, but thanks to the rather dodgy search facility, couldn't find my usual Neutrogena product. This Olay product was thrown up though and as it was a good name and the price wasn't too high (it was on special offer at the time), I bought it. The packaging The product comes in a very generous 150ml tube that is very easy to use in the shower when your hands are slippy. The colours on the tube are purple, not something that I would usually identify with Olay, but it is attractive enough. Unfortunately, that is about the only plus side to this product. Oil of Olay "USED" to be the best daily facial

Advantages: The former product kept my skin soft and smooth and actually looking younger
Disadvantages: I do not like the fact that you are selling basically a piece of cloth with soap for facial cleans

...A faithful DAILY user for over 30 years. Low and behold, this latest change in the daily facial cloths refill has be boiling. Heck, I might as well buy the soap and use a towel to get the friction and results I USED to receive from the front and back of the cleansing cloths. Now, when scrubbing my face, it just feels like a piece of thin cotton with soap. WHAT HAPPENED? After this refill, I will be seeking a new facial cleanser that doesn't change for the worse. Did you really think it was okay not to include the srub side on the cloth, especially for the same price? If I don't have options to choose the type of facial cloths I need for my skintype, this will be my last box. A faithful, faithful consumer for years, who is extremely disappointed........

Olay's promise: "Wet cleansing cloths thoroughly cleanse dirt and make-up, even waterproof mascara. Effective, yet gentle enough for everyday use." They are suitable for normal/dry and combination/oily skin, so that covers just about every skin type. ~~~How to use....~~~ Simply wipe over your face and they will remove all traces of make up. The cloth is textured in sort of squares, and they are lightly scented. ~~~How long do they last?~~~ Well there's 25 wipes in each pack so it depends how often you use them.
