...Oil of Ulay was a favourite of mine for years, and the name change to Oil of Olay (it's American name - cheaper to make the adverts if you only have to do one lot for the English speaking countries, methinks) has changed nothing. Nor the fact that they have a complete range of products now, when for years it was the tried and trusted beauty fluid. I love this stuff. I'm 45 now, but my skin is as nice as (and better than some) people's who are half my age. It is easily absorbs and helps rehydrate dry skin, and enable your skin to retain the moisture. I like the fact that their are UV protectants in it now. Years ago, we didn't know the damage that could occur from the sun's rays, we do now, and you have only to look at the older women who were sun worshippers in those years. Anyhow, after watching the powerful commercials for the Olay Regenerist daily regenerating serum on TV, I was totally taken in and I decided that I will have to give this attractive face lotion a try. I bought the 75 ml bottle for 11 pounds at Sainsbury. I am sure it can be found cheaper on sales and may be more expensive on regular price. I thought the price wasn't too bad considering the quality of the lotion and the little amount it is supposed to be used in. It is packaged nicely in a black-red plastic case that can be opened easily from the top. There are instruction behind the sleek white bottle with the black lid. ...i need to drastically change my routine before i caused irreperable damage and spent hours trawling the internet for advice. It turns out that the best products to use are ones that are non-comedogenic. This means that they wont block your pores. This is where Olay comes in. Now im not saying that Olay cleared my spots- i used Dermalogica for that. But what it did do was repair the over-dried and highly sensitized skin that had developed on my checks, temples and around my mouth from using the harsher products to begin with. The equivalent moisturizer in the Dermalogica range unfortunately did nothing to repair the damage caused from before. ...I normally moisturise my face every morning and evening. I have slightly dry skin so if I don't, my face feels taut and dry. For Christmas I was given two different moisturisers, one of which was Oil of Olay Active Beauty Fluid. I find that this is very easy to spread onto the skin, being very light and not too thick, and it is also equally easily absorbed. On using it, I find my skin immediately feels nicer and softer. During the day I notice that my skin continues to feel softer. I may put a small amount on during the afternoon but usually only if I have had a swim, or the heating has been on in the office. I have no idea if it really gets rid of wrinkles because I have used some form of moisturiser for about 20 years now, having had it drummed into me by my mother to look after my skin!! Oil of Olay "USED" to be the best daily facial

Advantages: The former product kept my skin soft and smooth and actually looking younger
Disadvantages: I do not like the fact that you are selling basically a piece of cloth with soap for facial cleans

...A faithful DAILY user for over 30 years. Low and behold, this latest change in the daily facial cloths refill has be boiling. Heck, I might as well buy the soap and use a towel to get the friction and results I USED to receive from the front and back of the cleansing cloths. Now, when scrubbing my face, it just feels like a piece of thin cotton with soap. WHAT HAPPENED? After this refill, I will be seeking a new facial cleanser that doesn't change for the worse. Did you really think it was okay not to include the srub side on the cloth, especially for the same price? If I don't have options to choose the type of facial cloths I need for my skintype, this will be my last box. A faithful, faithful consumer for years, who is extremely disappointed........
