Advantages: The best team in the world, good facilities Disadvantages: Expensive and busy
...I have visited Old Trafford twice in 2 seasons now specifically for the United v City Derby. The ground has good transport links to Manchester via Tram, Bus, Car and "Football special" train. Initially I had some reservations about attending the ground for such a "hard fought" fixture, however the reception of fans and organisation was most excellent.
I would recommend catching one of 3 special football trains from Manchester Piccadilly (on match days) to get you to the ground in around 10 minutes.... these trains are two commuter style trains that are joined together - arrive totally empty and can generally find space, with some standing, for everyone who is waiting.
The train drops you off by the south Stand, which is not far from the away section, major entrances to stands and the club shop. Match days are very well policed...

Review of Old Trafford
Advantages: Beautiful scenery and an unusual natural sight Disadvantages: Walking is necessary-although that isn't really a disadvantage at all!
...The Old Man of Hoy is the tallest sea stack in Europe at 137m and an impressive natural site for those who are sick of all the archeological sites around the Orkney Isles. Originally a headland, the sea stack is created when the force of the sea washes swirls and causes pressure on the land between the stack and the mainland until it falls away leaving just its very edge as a stack. Early drawings show the stack with an arch extending from its base, which has since been swept away, from hence it gets its name since it looked like a bent old man.
The island of Hoy is the second largest of the Orkney archipelago, just off the Orkney mainland and is said to have got its name from the old norse meaning high island as it is the only island in the chain to have any high land with the highest point being Ward Hill at 479m.
Hoy can be reached...
Advantages: Historical, interesting, great views Disadvantages: Not a huge amount to see
...A couple of weeks ago Mr Tart and I headed for the Peak District to visit his family. As a big fan of all things old I wanted to visit some sort of historical site as my part of the weekend (don?t worry, her got a 7 mile walk out of me for his part!). I?d always wanted to visit Hardwick Hall, especially as the Tudors is one of my favourite historical periods and was very happy to hear it was so close to where we were staying.
SOME HISTORY:
I doubt if many people will have heard of Hardwick Old Hall. I certainly hadn?t and I like to think I?m quite a bore when it comes to these sorts of things! The Hall was built by Bess of Hardwick (Elizabeth, Countess Shrewsbury) between 1587 and 1596. Bess was one of the foremost women of the Elizabethan age and managed to get through four husbands on her way up the social ladder. Bess was...
Advantages: A good combination of flavours Disadvantages: Quite sweet
...Cadbury Bournville Old Jamaica (180g bar)
Look what I found on the shelves at Morrisons! Well, I checked with Ciao that I could review this bar. They replied that I must point out at the beginning of this review that it is about the new bar and not the old one as this is the general topic for the product. Cadbury discontinued Old Jamaica a few years ago but now it is back by popular demand. Hooray!!! The details on the back of the wrapper say that, like the original bar, they are still using cocoa beans shipped from Ghana and the much loved raisin and rum flavours. It then goes on to say that Bournville are proud to unveil a new twist on an old favourite. I am going to have to delve deep into my memory to try and establish what this ?new twist? is. As with all my other reviews, I write about my experiences as I sample...

Review of Cadbury Old Jamaica
Advantages: there's nothing like it !! Disadvantages: bad rep for atmosphere
...It has been said many times over the years upon the arrival of each new player that ?there?s no better place to play than Old Trafford?. Whether it be for the atmosphere, the magnificent structure of the ground or even the friendly staff, it truly is a place that to so many is known as The Theatre Of Dreams. I value every match-day experience as equally as the last because you never know if it will be the last, as well as the fact that it never gets boring to be sat in the stand watching the worlds greatest players put their talent on show. Over the years players such as Best, Charlton, Cantona, Keane, and Beckham, have strode from the tunnel on countless occasions, yet you can see on their face the pure delight that comes with each and every single game. These days its Ferdinand, Giggs, Scholes, Van Nistelrooy and Rooney who share...

Review of Old Trafford
Advantages: Funny and great acting Disadvantages: None
...The 40 year old virgin is one of those films that you watch knowing that it will be full of silly humour and mainly aimed at the young male viewer. I sat down to watch this not really knowing if I would really enjoy it that much as it's all been done before really hasn't it? However I was surprised to find myself really enjoying it and have no complaints about watching it again and again!
The plot -
Andy Stitzer is a 40 year old man who has an OK life. He has an Ok job with friends and has his own nice apartment but there is one thing missing in his life and that is that he's never had sex! Yes at the grand old age of 40 he has never 'done the deed'. When his friends find out about this they want to get him out there on the scene immediately. However Andy has started seeing somebody - Trish, who is a single mother to three children...
Advantages: None that I can think of Disadvantages: Far too many to list - check out my review
...?The 40 Year Old Virgin? was written by Judd Apatow and Steve Carell and released back in September 2005.
****Story line****
Andy (Steve Carell), the main character of this film, is a ?geeky? guy with the interests of a typical American teenager. Andy likes nothing more than playing computer games, playing the French horn, reading comics, collecting film/cartoon memorabilia and painting action figures.
David (Paul Rudd), Jay (Romany Malco), Cal (Seth Rogan) and Mooj (Gerry Bednob) are four employees of Smart Tech looking to arrange a poker game. Being a person down they reluctantly invite Andy to join them and are surprised when Andy accepts the offer.
During the poker game David, Jay and Cal begin discussing previous sexual conquests and are amazed to discover that Andy is still a virgin. The trio are informed that whilst...
Advantages: Very playful Disadvantages: Very high maintenance
...My dad has always kept dogs. At the moment he has two: Charlie, a Chocolate Labrador and Roger, an Old English Sheepdog, before them there was Jasper, a King Charles Spaniel, Magic a Border Collie and Cassie a German Shepherd.
I had always had an Image of the Old English sheepdog as the Dulux dog, but although they are similar in looks they're nowhere near as cute... in my opinion anyway. Having said that I wouldn't be without him and although I wouldn't keep one myself he is loveable and he is cute. If I hadn't had the image of them that I did then maybe I would have taken to him quicker. Anyway? on with the review
~*~ History ~*~
The origins of the old English sheepdog are still questionable, however there is evidence that they originated in the early 19th Century in South England. At that time the dogs were mainly used...
Advantages: Gripping Storyline, Well Acted, Well Written, Well Directed Disadvantages: None
...mentioned above Javier Bardem won an Academy Award for best supporting actor, this was highly deserved as I said earlier, as he played his part brilliantly, however it did not end here, No Country For Old Men won 3 more Academy Awards, they were; best director and best adapted screenplay for Joel and Ethan Coen and it also won the coveted best picture award, so if my review does not get you to watch this great film, then maybe that will!
DVD Bonus Features
Also included on the DVD are the usual extras you get, including a program entitled 'the making of no country for old men' this is very good and if you enjoy the film it is well worth watching. There is also a short program about working with the Coen's and a diary of a Country Sheriff, these two are ok and give a luittle bit of insight into the two subjects and are worth watching...
Advantages: Location, Service, Food, Rooms Disadvantages: No lift to first or second floor
...I've stayed at this hotel twice, most recently in October 2009 and really would recommend it. The rooms are very stylish and have with a good mix of modern yet classic furnishings, the superior 4 poster rooms are very bright and spacious and the standard rooms, although only average in size (in my experience) are also a pleasure to stay in.
The bar area has a good range of wines by the glass (more by the bottle) and plently of comfortable sofas / chairs to relax on. The food here is excellent (including the vegetarian menu) and the restaurant is elegant but not pretentious. The staff are all very friendly and helpful & Linda (the owner) is always around to assist or just to chat to.
The hotel is located just across the road from the cathederal and is literally a 1 minute walk away from town.
I have found The Old Deanery to be...
