5 Years Of Life With Brompton
Advantages: Almost "full sized bike" rideability. Less likely to get stolen if stored indoors instead of in shed!
Disadvantages: Small wheels go down holes further = harder ride. Expensive unless you MUST have a folder.
...I first wrote this opinion within a few days of buying my Brompton L3, and nearly five years and several thousand miles later, I stand by everything I said then.
It's a fine and useful machine as long as you don't think it's got any off-road capabilities. Half a mile in a ploughed field convinced me of this - for one thing the pedals are too near the ground to escape furrows! The purpose...

Yummy Yo! Sushi
Advantages: Fun, novel idea, easy to see what you are getting to eat, yummy!
Disadvantages: A little pricey if you eat lots!
...I was in London recently and we decided to have a look around Knightsbridge. We saw the Harrods supermarket and I was intrigued to see if things cost more in there than in other supermarkets, so off we went to have a look. Once we were inside there are a few snack bars and mini restaurant-type places. One of these was Yo! Sushi which I have been wanting to go to for ages.. so my boyfriend agreed...

THE ROAD HOME - DOWN BUT NOT OUT IN LONDON TOWN
Advantages: A thought provoking book
Disadvantages: NONE
...and imagery and is both funny and tragic.
It tells the sad and yet optimistic, story of Lev, a 42 year old widower who leaves behind his young daughter, Maya, with her grandmother in Eastern Europe (just where we never do find out) and makes the journey to London in search of a job that would let him send money home to make a better life for them.
Lev is a likeable and hardworking man who quickly...
