...2 weeks ago i bought the Olympus FE-3010 because of it is very cheap considering advanced features. 1.)Physical Appearance It has 2.7-inch LCD screen Super-slim (0.7-inch thick) metal body compatible with xD Picture Cards and microSD memory cards. The appearance is nice and comes in three colors: pink, black and silver. I own the pink one. the only problem i have with the apperance is the big "fe" written in the lower left corner of the camera. 2.) 12-megapixel resolution: This digital camera gives poster-sized superb quality photos which i personally appreciate. ...A good quality, compact camera. Produced crisp, clear hpotos in almost all lighting conditions. Is particulary good at action photos for a camera of its size and price. Very durable and easy to use computer software. Olympus also offer excellent customer service as I dropped mine onto a concrete floor and they quickly repaired it (paying for all posting and packaging) and got it back to me with a couple of weeks. The camera is easy to use and switch between modes and has many different setting for different environments. Good quality flash and the zoom can be used from relatively long diatnces away from the subject. Its also allows you to make short video clips with adequate sound. Overall a good quality camera for its price....

Olympus FE-190- trustworthy but better money to be spent

At the time it was a very good digital camera, with a 6.3 mega pixel and the fetures to change the tones, with different settings, like portrait, lanscape and night mode. It also has the ability to film short movies. However at this time, and looking at the price the olympus FE-190 is selling for, i would not recommend it. Yes olympus is a very well known and loyal brand, but the FE-190 is only a 6.3 megapixel, and when the flash is needed, the battery has only roughly around 4 hours photographing time. Normally when there is natural lighting, the FE-190 takes crisp and lovely pictures, makes them more vibrant and seemingly full of life, which is ideal for family photos and to make memorable pictures. Although as with most electronic products, the value will deteriorate over time and should be able to get a cheaper version next year. Thirdly, the camera contains user-friendly menus with text and picture makes people rarely to use its manual, I just play around the menu for 5 minutes and can understand almost of its feature. One thing I need to read the manual is the panorama feature which later I really love it. An easy-to-use software to make a panorama pictures are included in the package. On the other hand, I found that xD card is quite expensive compare to other types of flash memory. Newer Olympus digital camera can use mini SD card which is far more cheaper.
