...Good quality, durable, long battery-life and easy-to-use are my preference in choosing a digital camera and this Olympus FE-150 responses all my need. Firstly, 5.0 Mega pixels delivers as much detailed pictures as an amatuer photographer needed. Many people believe that higher resolution digital cameras (e.g. 7.0M, 10.0M) produce better quality photos but it is not always true because many of them never turn-on 'Maximum' resolution to save memord card space. I'm using sub-maximum quality and it produces good quality photos for me. Secondly, I've used this camera for more than a year and it's metallic design makes it durable and easy-to-clean. ...We all love a good photo, I know I do. So when I decided to buy a digital camera I didn't know which sort to get. I wanted a simple to use and inexpensive camera and after searching around a few places I came across the Olympus FE-100. The Camera = The Olympus FE-100 Digital Camera which is Silver is very small and compact but also very cheap. It has got a built in help menu, 6 shooting modes and can be connected to your computer. It's Features Pixels ' I've never really understood what the pixels etc mean so I cant really go into full detail about the but This Olympus FE-100 has got 4.0 mega pixels. ...The Olympus FE-170 to begin is a very good camera. REVIEW = The cam, as you can see is jam packed full of special features. Some you may find useful and some are just like-- what will I need this for. Luckily the camera comes with a handy booklet explaining in detail all of them :) Upon opening I was overjoyed with the overall appearance and weight and design of the product. The buttons fit lovely in your hands and are easy to use. Nothing is stiff and nothing is too loose. The buttons are perfect in my opinion. To take pictures just press the button. That is about the only feature I ever use. The macro shots work well though. They can take fairly close up good quality pictures of thing. ...This was a birthday present that I picked for myself and I don't regret it. The zoom is amazing, I can get a clear picture from about 100 metres away if not further. Before taking the picture, when zooming far it does look very blurry but it sorts itself out when taking the photo and comes out clear. The camera can be a little slow when taking the picture but it doesn't bother me but might be a problem if you want to take the photo quickly. I have shakey hands so I do sometimes have a problem with taking a photo without it being a little blurred. Whether the camera should help with that or not I really don't know. It's small and light enough to take with you wherever you go. All the different settings make it so much easier to take a good photo. Advantages: Ergonomic, cheap and very effective digital zoom camera.
Disadvantages: The software is rather poor.

We decided to go for D-490 because it had 2.1 mega-pixels at £399 rather than Olympus C-860L that had 1.3 mega-pixels for £299-£340 (depending on retail outlet). We thought the extra £100 would give a superior photo quality at a price worth paying. The D-490 features include a very handy 2.5x digital zoom, which is ok but to have a 10x digital zoom it would mean paying an extra £200-300. We opted for the Olympus over the Fuji because the Olympus resembled a conventional camera over the non-convention look of the Fuji, although the Fuji looked very sleek and shiny but didn’t feel right. After a while looking at what was on offer, I decided on the Olympus C-920 digital camera. The camera itself is a sleek looking design, with a metallic golden tinge. a sliding lens cap activates the camera, and the lens protrudes from within the camera once the lens cover is slid back. Advantages: Compact, Lightweight, Stylish and 4.0 megapixels means you can print up to A3, still with a high quality printout.
Disadvantages: No protective case included and the larger xD-Picture Cards are highly priced.

For example, there was a list of megapixels, then next to it; it told you how large you could print up to with each amount of pixels, which would still be of a high quality. I had a good look at the list and decided that I may want to print my images up to A3. I therefore needed a 4.0 megapixel or higher Digital Camera.
