Nokia 6100
Advantages: Polyphonic ringtones, loudspeaker....
Disadvantages: None I have come across yet
...Having had the Nokia 8310 for over a year, I was starting to get bored and fancied a change. I went into the Carphone Warehouse where my friends worked as this is the most reliable way for me to get an honest opinion how great a phone was. After looking at the huge range available, I was down to two phones which I couldn’t decide between, the Siemens SL55 and the Nokia 6100. I was leaning towards the Siemens when I was informed that they were prone to manufacturing problems so my problem was solved, priced at £89.99 I walked away with my new purchase. (Note, this was 4 months ago and I believe that you can get it for free now with the camera attachment on certain networks).
I knew that I wanted a small phone as my hands are tiny and the 6100’s slim line design was perfect for my little hands and my little handbags! As...

hey! i got the 6100
Advantages: BRIGHT AND FINE COLOUR SCREEN
Disadvantages: INFRARED CAN NOT SEND OR RECEIVE DATA FROM OTHER PHONES
...I never use any Nokia phones, 6100 is the first Nokia phone that I ever use. One thing that I noted about Nokia's is that they are easy to operate but have limited functions. Another interesting function of Nokia's is that there case is changeable
Well I was using Sony Erisson when my friend requested me to replace it with Nokia 6100 and I agreed because it was a great set. I like its finest screen and its bright colors.

OUTLOOK
=
6100 has a good look. Power button is at top and all numeric buttons are like leafs. Size is average that fits in your hands, Screen size is average and fit. Infrared is at right side but I m afraid with it because it only work with the infrared cable and the volume button is at left side. An excellent feature is that it has loud speaker that enables you to listen your calls louder...

Xerox 6100
Advantages: Easy to use, inexpensive ink, print quality
Disadvantages: slow to warm up, slightly loud
...I purchased this printer for the office a couple of months ago and it is a real winner. Works 12 hours a day, is quite quick in setting up new pages, offers much clearer print quality than I had expected for a colour laser printer of this price range, it is easy to use, didn't need time consuming training sessions ( easy double side printing too) and works well as part of the office net with four other PCs printing through it. More important perhaps is that the original replacement ink cartridges are reasonably proced too and that the ink cartridges last relatively long ( we print our logo together with the text or report so quite a lot o ink is used ). As negative point I would point to the fact that the 6100 needs quite a long time to warm up and that it does create quite a high level of noise. In any case I have since...

Nokia 6100 - At a Glance
Advantages: Has everything you need in a modern phone.
Disadvantages: errrrm...poor standard games (seriously, thats as bad as it gets)
...The Nokia 6100 was a replacement to my Samsung S300 (which my wonderful fiancée decided to put in the washing machine). The S300 was a great phone with great ringtones & a high quality screen. However, there was one small problem with it (apart from not having an extendable T9 dictionary)... it wasn't a Nokia!! No matter what phones I've had in the past (Motorola, Bosch, Sagems, Samsung) I've always gone back to Nokia. Not only is it the assured reliability, but also, there are just more accessories, ringtones, games etc available for Nokias.
If you are after a phone which will make you stand out in the crowd, this probably isn't for you. But if you need a phone that does what you need it to do & more, you can?t go wrong.
The colour screen copes well with any pictures & all the games look as good as you would expect...

Nokia 6100- Tip Top!
Advantages: Awesome screen, nice size, light, easy to use
Disadvantages: Not a built in camera, rubbish games
.... Also the buttons aren't so small the u cant push them one at a time with out a dialling wand but neither are they too big so that you have to hold it away from you to focus on the numbers. Its light and not so bulky that it likes your carrying a nuclear warhead in your pocket.
~~~~Menu~~~~
As a firm believer in the fact that Nokia make the best user friendly menus in the entire cell phone industry the 6100 is a loyal friend. As well as all the usuals; messages, call register, profiles, settings, games and services etc. it also comes with a:
Gallery (to look through all your downloaded tones and pictures)
Organiser (an electronic diary where you can store birthdays, meetings, anniversaries with a message and alarm if you so choose)
Extras (which contains a calculator, count down timer, stop watch, and a wallet, which is where you...
I love the Proxima DP6100
Advantages: Great quality, abundance of features and long bulb life.
Disadvantages: Unless found reconditioned or second-hand is pretty steep!
....
Inputs:
Allows mice (for business presentations), composite video and S-Video to be plugged directly into the unit. This means that output from a Digital Receiver (the thing used to decode Dolby signals) or other hardware plugs directly into the projector. Great choice because you can either plug in a S-Video lead directly or use convertor cables to change for instance Scart on hardware to S-Video or composite video on the projector.
Adjustability:
The Proxima DP6100 has high levels of adjustment. This unit unfortunately does not include automatic focus so that will have to be done manually once the correct viewing surface, and positioning of the projector have been found.
There is also on-screen digital control panels so that all of its adjustments (high levels of colour, contrast, sharpness and brightness adjustment) can be tuned...
Nokia 6100
Advantages: Small, Light, Looks
Disadvantages: No Camera
...The Nokia 6100 has the exact same features as the 7210. First it has a superb full colour screen display unlike other phones, that normally cut out about 1 mm of the screen. This high quality display is great for viewing photos or pictures which can be downloaded by its very fast internet access through GPRS which also uses XHTML, this alows for frames and pics to be viewed when on the WAP facility.
They can also be received through this new feature which Nokia has newly added called Multimedia Messaging Service (a.k.a. MMS).
This new way of messaging allows for users to send pictures from mobile to mobile, pictures can also be recieved from a different make of phone or of which were taken by a camera phone.
The Nokia 6100 has slim looks and changable facia. It is much smaller than a 7210 but the width is about the same and is...
My 6100 Moblee
Advantages: Small, slim good looks and excellent functionality
Disadvantages: If it had a camera, it'd be perfect
...I purchased my 6100 about 2 years ago and have never looked back since. After the initial 2 weeks of messing around with all the features, trying every ringtone and wallpaper, changing the facia's and generally getting a feel for the phone, it was pretty clear that i'd made a good choice.
For a start, even after all this time, its still one of the smallest phones on the market. It has an internal ariel, cutting the size down even further and as with all nokias, it's so simple to use. The bulk of the work is carried out by two 'hotkeys', used to access such menu's as the Address Book, Messages, Call register, Profiles, Settings, Alarm Clock, Gallery, Organiser, Games, Applications and Services.
The organiser is an excellent function and you can basically plan your life for the next five years, selecting a date from an on...
Nokia 6100 - One year on!
Advantages: Compact, Features, Tough, Stylish
Disadvantages: Ummmm.....
...Well, I've had my 6100 a year now, upgraded from a Sony Z7 and stayed on O2.
One year down the line, this little phone has really done me very well. Although I don't use all of the features (such as the GPRS, receiving emails and accesing WAP internet), this phone is simple, effective, easy to use and is generally pretty cool.
I make use of its wireless infra-red port to update my phone book onto my computer incase of any disasters and the calender function (one button press to activate) is very useful and allows alarms to be set for appointments.
Being able to access the screen to type a text message with one button press is also a very useful funtion, saving trawling through whole loads of menus.
In terms of looks, this phone is totally 'personalisable'! With clip on covers front and rear this phone can appeal to any age...
