The icing on the cake

...When I was younger my grandma and I always used to bake cakes at the weekend. My favourites were the Coffee cake or the Marble cake. We always seemed to make large, share sized cakes fitted for all, but never little fairy cakes or little cup cakes. Though now when I get the urge to bake on my own, I tend to make little single sized cakes which are fine for dishing out. To ice them, I always use Silver Spoon icing sugar, as I do feel it is the best around! Packaging: The icing sugar comes in a cardboard box. One thing that attracts me to it is its pretty pink colour - it may be sexist but I do think this is aimed at females more so. On the front there is a big spoon image, hence the name! Lip smacking , thirst quenching Iced Tea .

TWICE AS NICE WITH ICE

...This ice cube tray will give you the coolest ice cubes ever! I really like Lego and the idea of having Lego shaped ice cubes seemed wonderful. I bought this from the Lego website for £3.99. I am not sure whether it is available in Lego shops in the high street, but I imagine it would be. If not it is available on the website, but you do have to remember that p&p costs are added on! The tray comes in yellow and is made out of a rubbery material and each ice cube comes out shaped like a lego building brick! The Lego logo is printed at the bottom of the mold. The ice cube tray makes 10 ice cubes (it has two rows of five blocks) These ice cubes are quite large, I would say they are about 5 cm long and 2 cm wide.
