Directed by ' Joseph Newman ' it is a very energetic , colourfull film which begins in familiar enough territory but journeys much farther out into interstellar travel and interplanetary war. The star of the film ' Rex Reason ' is unfortunately stolidly innapropriate in the part of the young physicist.Faith Domergue fares little better either......being rather flat. But what makes this film so stand out is the special effects...

Classic Soap Opera

You feel like a king on this island

Advantages: You didn't have pay a fortune if you didn't want to.
Disadvantages: the only let down was the kids club.

...This was our first trip to Egypt and so we chose the Maritim Jolie Ville Luxor Resort Kings Island Luxor ? Egypt which is not you?re typical 5* hotel but maybe on a par with a 3* premier inn but a premier inn set in paradise, ok the rooms were not the ritz. I have stayed in worse in this country and paid more. The setting of the sun each night was amazing, to sit there and watch it with a drink and some classical music in the background was a dream come true. Ok, I also was in the D block the same as a previous review stated and I also see the paper on the ground but saying that we had no trouble with blockages in fact the lady that cleaned our room was very good and thorough. There's a crazy frog on this island

...Oh woe is me, stranded on this desert island in the middle of nowhere, just me, myself and I. I suppose I only have myself to blame, as I was drunk and disorderly on the little Ciao plane, but come on, the sight of TALLULAHBANG in an air hostess's outfit is enough to make any man a bit excited. It didn't help that, the crafty old fox, BADCOMPANY77, had been plying me with the black stuff all day and when DEMPSEYREVIEW made comments about joining the mile high club, well things got a little bit out of control. I can't really blame Captain RICHADA either, he had no choice but to kick me off, with a parachute strapped to my back, but did he really have too kick me that hard. Well at least I managed to guide myself down to this island and he had the decency to throw my luggage out with me. Oh well, let's see what delights I've got. Hold on...

...A pleasant little film this one, not the greatest children's adventure film ever made, but a reasonable effort. Synopsis Nim is an 11 year old girl who lost her mother when she was a toddler. He father who's a writer and marine biologist told her she was swallowed by a blue whale which was on the run from a ship called the Buccaneer. Nim and her father Jack live on an island they discovered after sailing around the world for several years. They are the only inhabitants, unless you count a collection of animals which Nim has befriended, included a sealion, a bearded dragon and a pelican. Having never even heard about this park, and already purchasing a multipass I figured I might as well check this place out. I can honestly say I would compare this place to being just as goods as Universal Studios. Advantages: Clearly written. Nice progression.
Disadvantages: Some tragedy but it all might end in something good, is that naive?

The bookseller tried to put me off it, he said it was by that Hislop woman who he thought was the wife of some obnoxious T.V. critic. In fact it's by Victoria Hislop who writes travel features for the Sunday Telegraph, parenting and education for the Daily Telegraph and general features for Woman and Home. I don't know any more about her. It's published by Headline Book Publishing, cost £6.99, ISBN 0-7553-0951-0. I found a round sticker on it saying Richard and Judy's Summer Read and thought I might have got the wrong thing; the Observer calls it a "beach book" with a heart. ...I recently visited Orkney and in between seeing ancient sites and natural wonders I also sampled a fair few of the local beers and to my delight found that many of them would make a visit to the islands worthwhile all on their own.
