...Steps were formed in 1997 and this was their debut album, which was produced by Pete Waterman. Contrary to popular belief, the group weren't put together by him. He only started producing them after their debut single. Always good value at parties and for listening to, Steps did terrible concerts without live bands so I refused to go and see them except at roadshows and one-off charity concerts. Steps : Step one

Advantages: cool songs , feel good , lots of dancing
Disadvantages: one or two boring songs

...Step one was Steps' first album - released in August 1998. The album includes : Last thing on my mind - Great get up and dance song.Faye sings the first verse , claire 2nd verse and Lisa the 3 verse with everyone singing the chorus. 5,6,7,8 - Steps' first ever single! This is a country and western song with a Lee rapping. Probably my least favourite steps song ever! One for sorrow - Great ballad starts of slow , builds up becomes more dancy towards the end. first verse sang by claire , second verse claire and third verse claire.Claire sings the choruses as well , with a faint joining in from the rest of the band.So pretty much the whole song sang by Claire. Clarins One Step Cleanser.. no thank you!

Advantages: Quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: Makes your skin feel really oily..

...I bought this Clarins 'One Step Facial Cleaner' when I was in Duty Free, I needed a new cleanser so I thought I would give this one a go since I have never tried it before. This particular cleaner is meant to cleanse and tone in one easy step, which I thought was good since it would cut some time out of cleansing and toning separately. The cleanser comes with orange extract and is meant to 'renew radiance'. The bottle is quite a simple design. It is made of see-through clouded white plastic with a red 'Clarins' logo at the stop of the bottle. It then has the name of the cleanser in French and then underneath that 'One Step Facial Cleanser With Orange Extracts'. ONE STEP TOWARDS PERFECT SKIN

Advantages: Quick and easy to use, really makes a difference to how skin looks and feels
Disadvantages: Microbeads are hard to wash away, smell is not as nice as it could be

One giant step for mankind

...This was the album that started it all off for Lisa, Claire, H, Lee and Faye. All those watches, posters, keyrings, backpacks and millions of other merchandise and thingies are the result of the success of this first album. Steps were only meant to produce one single ("5,6,7,8") but after sales of that single went through the roof the producers obviously saw a big money making opportunity and so started the rise and rise of steps. Advantages: A fantastic dose of cheesy pop!
Disadvantages: A couple of slushy mushy ones!

One Step to a perfect complexion!

...If you are expecting a dynamic, original piece of work then this is probably not going to count among you favorite albums. Equally if you are looking for some great guitar riffs and thunderous drums then look elsewhere. What we have here is the second album release from the squeaky-clean girls and boys from Steps which is nothing more than yet another pop-album. Re-hashes of old Stock, Aitken and Waterman tracks and Bee Gees songs for example are what this album comprises of making it feel more like a tribute album rather than a band’s latest album release. Original it ain’t. But then this doesn’t necessarily make it a bad album, just a sad commentary on the music industry where it is easier to re-release old and tested songs rather than run the risk that new-one might not be as popular. Highly recommend the Virgin Vie One Step Face Base

Advantages: Looks good and comes in a great compact, easy to put on and easy to remove.
Disadvantages: Fairly expensive, but worth it.

...I was first introduced to this product when I went to a friends virgin vie at home party. The sales representative showed me the product and explained what it was and did. At a first glance the foundation is in a very attractive compact case. Over the years I have had about 4 different coloured cases, all of a very attractive design. The great thing about the foundation is that once you have bought the original foundation in the case for £15.00 you can then just buy the refill foundations for £11.50. The old refill just pops out and the new one just fits in. Really quick and easy. The product comes in 6 different shades. The foundation itself is very easy to use. You can either use it on top of a liquid base foundation which I personally do as I suffer from fairly dry skin, so therefore it looks better with a liquid base...
