...Hello everyone and welcome to this review. Well... Unfortunately my old HP laptop had reached the end of its life; it was time to get a new one. Im surprised that it lasted as long as it did considering the amount of times I drop my laptops. After researching on the web for a while I got a bit confused, there were so many laptops available and there were many good and bad reviews on each, I really did not know what to think. So, a trip to Comet was in order, I just wanted to pick one that looked nice and had okay features. If it was bad I always had the 28 day Comet return policy available, after all I would only lose around £10 for a repacking fee if the laptop was not for me. Acer Aspire One = Number 1!

Advantages: Small, light, comparativley powerful
Disadvantages: No external DVD drive provided. Protective sleeve

If you are one of the majority who have had Micro$oft thrust upon you then go for the Windows version, unless you have the time and patience to install it yourself. There are 2 SD card slot on this machine, the one on the left hand side is intended for the the version of this laptop with SSD to expand the storage capacity. Stick an SD card in and leave it sort of thing. The other slot on the right hand side can cope with a few different formats, including SD and this is intended as your normal card reader, say from a digital camera where you take the pictures off and remove the card. Aspire one Small But Mighty

...I bought this version of the acer aspire one before christmas 2008. Since I bought mine my mother brother and next door neighbour have all been so impressed that they to have purchased the exact same machine. My machine came pre installed with Linpus lite (lunix) which is a little strange if your used to windows in any form. From getting the machine out of the box i was online within 5 mins. It was so simple. The 1st thing you will need to do once you get connected is to goto the settings menu and click the live update. This gets all the up to date bits and bobs the aspire one needs to be upto date. This process is almost fully automated and took about 30mins tom update and install. The software included is more great - its not windows office, but a free version called open office it includes a good word processor, spreadsheet...

One of the Pointless

Advantages: A couple of decent, fun songs
Disadvantages: Mostly stuff that been done better elsewhere already

...topping the charts consistently over the last few years, Perry doesn't have the back catalogue to support her fame and it turns out that her wardrobe is of better quality and will probably endure longer than her music. Any album opening with an annoying "do do do" lyric certainly isn't encouraging, but fortunately the title track, "One of the Boys" does improve. It's an up tempo, quite bouncy heavy pop track. There's nothing particularly new or inspiring here, but it's a fairly decent start to the album. It does remind me a little of Amy Studt's debut album, in her more upbeat moments. The second track is the first single from the album and one which started all the hype. The hints of same sex snogging, as practised by Madonna and Britney Spears a couple of years back drive the lyrics of "I Kissed a Girl". Even without the hype, though...

A man is trying to kill all of his other forms in different universe so that he becomes powerful and wants to see if that makes him the One- the lord. Following him is the police of the multi-verse, which also makes it an usual cop-criminal stories. He is only left one copy of himself in another universe, whom he wants to kill and become the one. The OTHER him is by tradition the good guy here and is trying to fight againt him. My friend had told me it is a great film and I should see it. ...--Background-- My wife has always moaned that she could never get onto the family PC as it was always being used by either my kids or myself. After doing a bit of research, she convinced me to buy her the Acer Aspire One netbook which she would use for web browsing and writing simple documents. I was a bit sceptical of the device, after all, to me it was just a cheap laptop. But, alas, she won and off I went to Currys armed with my credit card to begrudingly buy her one. --In the box-- The box in which the Aspire comes is very small. You'd be able to fit it under your arm and carry it no problem. As well as the netbook, there was a mains battery charger, a user manual and a recovery cd which I thought was strange considering there isnt a cd driver in the netbook!! --Initial Setup-- I must admit I found this impressive...
