...What's the difference between eyes meeting across a busy pub and a private chat with someone from a chatroom? a lot? some? nothing? My personal opinion is not a lot, the bottom line being you can be as wrong or as right about someone that you meet in a pub as someone you meet online. Your personal instinct will be the guiding force as to how you wheedle out the lovers from the losers. In February 2002, I met my current boyfriend, after emailing him for around 6 weeks. Prior to that, I dated one other man who I had met on a dating site.
