Introduction Most of my online work is done on my laptop computer, but I cannot get along with the built in touch-pad and decided to use a mouse instead, after trying the normal sized mouse borrowed from my desk-top PC, I found that it was too big for the available space that I had, so I bought a mini mouse which was ideal. After using and breaking several unbranded mini mice bought cheaply from my local computer supplies shop I decided to see what was available on line, and after seeing the Labtec mini optical glow mouse, and read some positive reviews on it, I ordered one. They do specialize a little in gaming mouse's for laptops however this mouse could really just be used for anything. Because this mouse is a cool white colour, it doesn't only look modern but it could also go very well with a mac computer if you have one as it would be a lot cheaper and id say better then a mac mouse is. If you don't however this still goes into your laptop and your computer with no trouble and looks pretty cool too. Advantages: cheap, reliable
Disadvantages: large, not good looking

...When it comes to mouse’s, there all pretty much the same, except for of course optical or the ones with little ball bearings in them. However most mouse’s do handle the same, and there is little that can really be changed to a mouse, the size, shape and colour can be changed as can the buttons it has, however sometimes altering these just makes it too snazzy and people cant understand them. I bought this from Argos quite a while ago, and its one of my mouse’s that I use a lot. However one annoying thing about it is its size, and because I have a laptop, I don’t like to take this around with me due to it being too large and not fitting in my bag. This actually cost me £5.47, which is pretty reasonable, especially for Argos, but I do think it was in some kind of sale. Ok so its not the best looking...

My Minnie Mouse - Belkin miniscroller Rechargeable Optical Mouse

...Belkin Mini scroller rechargeable optical mouse I bought this little mouse to use with my laptop as sometimes i find the touch pad thingie on the laptop makes my hand ache. I think ii only paid about £8 for it on sale in a bargain shop so I felt it was worth a try. UNPACKING AND SETTING UP: It comes in quite a large box about the size of four paperback books but most of this is packing. The box contents were: the mouse, small manual (paper not CD Rom), rechargeable batteries and a recharging cable. It took minutes to unpack and open the mini guide to read instructions for setting it up. Step 1. Open mouse and put in the rechargeable batteries as per diagram Step 2. Charge batteries for 10 hours through the USB connector into computer/laptop ? So you can?t use it straight away in fact ? it states that it only takes about 4 hours...

Labtec Wireless Optical Mouse.

Advantages: No more wires.
Disadvantages: Eats the batteries.

.... and the optical-tracking technology provides smooth cursor movement on almost all surfaces and eliminates the hassles of mouse pad and cleaning old-fashioned mouse balls. The only downside to being wireless is that it takes batteries and with this one there is no off switch on the mouse, so when not using my computer I remove the batteries..... and have noticed by doing this the batteries do last longer, around 3 weeks for me with average usage. Overall this is a nice and neat looking little mouse and I prefer this much better than my old corded one, although I still have the old one just in case I run out of batteries when I dont have any ! As this was a gift I'm not sure of the price, but have seen it as low as £9.00 online. SPECIFICATIONS: Receiver Batteries Cordless Mouse Small PS/2 Receiver and extension cable Two AA Batteries...

  AN EXCELLENT OPTICAL MOUSE

Advantages: Great response, no ball to get dirty, wheel is invaluable
Disadvantages: A bit on the pricey side

..., with a small part coming out of the bottom. Then when you move the mouse back and forth, the ball moves too, and this is picked up by rollers that are in contact with the ball inside the mouse mechanism. There are two problems with this ? firstly the mouse relies on moving parts. The rollers and springs inside the plastic case don?t last forever, leading to rubbish performance from the mouse. The second problem is dust and dirt. It?s amazing how quickly it builds up inside the cavity where the mouse ball sits in normal operation, and unless you clean it out very regally, the pointer will not move evenly across the screen as you use the mouse. So, Microsoft being the innovative and creative (ha!) people that they are, they have come up with the Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical, available almost everywhere for about 25 quid. OK, lets looks...

...In the beginning of my review I must say that don't agree with previous opinion. Not sure that this person really had this mouse. I have read some negative reviews of this product, but personally I really like it. Mouse itself Just have a look at it. It's beautiful, nicely designed and stylish I would say. As name says it is optical mouse which uses a string of laser (red in this example) to move cursor around the screen. This type is much easier in maintenance. You won't have to remove cover to clean ball and other parts from everything what was on a table. Thanks this technology moving cursor is much more smooth and precise. Is very helpful when gaming or using complicated applications like in my example 3ds max. Programmable buttons help when using many applications in the same time. Disadvantages: poor battery life, sometimes needs resetting

...is to acknowledge the signal from the mouse when you use it, and the other is to indicate charging status, red when battery life low. Green when ok. If you are a heavy mouse user the batteries do not last long, this is one of the mouses downfall, I would recomend buying a cheap, seperate charger and rechargeable batteries to hold in reserve. The other drawback is lock up the mouse can sometimes just freeze for no reason and you have to restart the computer again. Advantages Optical so no clogging like a standard trackerball mouse no leads which get tangled up around your workstation.
