Optical amazing!

Advantages: Amazing customer service
Disadvantages: The equipment isn't as hi tech as other places

...So after having an eye test at D&A and being scared off by the prices, I booked myself into Optical Express which is where Andrew gets his contacts from. The price of the eyetest was half the price of D&A (£15) to start with and if you purchased glasses afterwards then it would automatically be free. The eye test didn?t seem as hi-tech or extensive as D&A and nor did the equipment seem as up-to-date but the optician was friendly, made conversation and was just a genuinely nice guy and whats more important, the test results came back the same as they did at D&A; I need glasses and I have a stigmatism. The staff here are absolutely amazing and I can?t praise them highly enough. They were not only friendly and personal but they also couldn?t do enough to please me. Vista-Prep Optical Hand Scrub.

Advantages: Cleans hands leaving no residue, fragrance free, designed specially for this use.
Disadvantages: Expensive in comparison to antibacterial hand soaps.

...Although I am just an occassional 'dailies' contact lens wearer I use Vista-Prep Optical Hand Scrub by Amcon. The product was designed to leave no residue on your hands for when you apply your contact lenses. Before you put contact lenses in you must ensure your hands are nice and clean to prevent infections, and generally soaps and hand washes are used to clean your hands beforehand. Using Vista-Prep Optical Hand Scrub gives you the confidence to apply contact lenses without the chance of soapy residues contaminating the lens as you apply it.
