Optical amazing!

Advantages: Amazing customer service
Disadvantages: The equipment isn't as hi tech as other places

...So after having an eye test at D&A and being scared off by the prices, I booked myself into Optical Express which is where Andrew gets his contacts from. The price of the eyetest was half the price of D&A (£15) to start with and if you purchased glasses afterwards then it would automatically be free. The eye test didn?t seem as hi-tech or extensive as D&A and nor did the equipment seem as up-to-date but the optician was friendly, made conversation and was just a genuinely nice guy and whats more important, the test results came back the same as they did at D&A; I need glasses and I have a stigmatism. The staff here are absolutely amazing and I can?t praise them highly enough. They were not only friendly and personal but they also couldn?t do enough to please me. There were four ladies in the shop and they were all helping me choose...

...I purchased the original DMC-TZ1 when it first came onto the market a few years back and thought it was a great camera. But this one is even better! The 9.1mp makes for a good clear shot and the 12x optical zoom is amazing! Its the perfect camera for travelling - it can fit into your pocket or a going out bag ensuring you always have a camera to capture every moment. The zoom is the perfect added bonus. The only downside as I see it is the battery must be a specific type which isnt compatable with many other cameras. Having said that the battery is good quality and lasts for ages once charged. Because the battery is so specific to purchase a spare (which I would recommend for anyone travelling) isnt the cheapest....

Advanced and good value for money digital camera

...I bought this camera from marks and spencers for £279.99. This camera is great due to all the features that it has. It has a great 12x optical zoom, which even at 9x or 10x zoom, the pictures look quite clear and well taken photos. It has a good image stabilisation feature which allows you to take photos even if the object of person is moving very fast. Its battery life is quite good compared to most ordinary cameras which allows you to take 250 photos on average. It is a 10.1 megapixel camera which has a very high number of pixels for each picture, and I can say this is definitely so when I upload my pictures onto my laptop as the pictures are VERY clear and they still look good when zoomed in by half the size of the picture....

...Optical Express services, staff and admin. I have worn glasses and contacts for the past 18 years and I have been with many independent and high street stores. I recently moved to Stockport and decided to give Optical Express a try. The first impressions of the store were good. It is very clean and well lit with a good selection of glasses, cleaners and eye care products. The other eye care options such as laser surgery and regular check up reminders are clearly visible around the store. The staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, polite and friendly. The advice offered and help given when choosing my new contact lenses - when I switched from daily torics to monthly (one soft, one toric) - was spot on and my eyes are comfier and vision improved. The direct debit scheme is very helpful - I paid a £45 initial cost...

A 570mm Zoom Digital Camera

...Fuji FinePix 2800Zoom This digital camera is another in Fuji`s fine lineage. But I`m confused as to why other manufacturers aren`t offering any competition! No competition? It`s true, there is no competition in the sub-£500 digital camera market for a model with the equivalent of a 570mm zoom. What`s even more amazing is that I managed to pick mine up for just £269 brand spanking new. The full zoom option is only available in VGA resolution mode, the lowest available, and this is perfectly reasonable for website publishing. Even in high-resolution (2 megapixel - the highest) mode, you still have access to the 6x optical zoom, which equates to approximately 228mm. In between you also have access to the 2x digital zoom. At 1 megapixel resolution, when combined with the optical zoom, it can achieve a maximum zoom equivalence...

Despite promising the potential to earn rewards and cash through ZoomPoints, the first 10 or 11 surveys they offered me only qualified me for entry into a sweepstake or prize draw. I'm afraid that I very swiftly pull the plug on any survey company only offering entries into prize draws, as in over 2 years of survey work, I have yet to win anything from any survey company prize draw or raffle. I fail to see why I should spend my valuable time completing a survey for which I get little or no reward, when you can bet your bottom dollar the company hosting it is being handsomely rewarded. However, I am most glad that I gave them the benefit of the doubt, as ZoomPanel have proved to be a good...

A camera with outstanding quality

Advantages: Crisp clear pictures, 3 photo settings (stlye of photo), various camera settings (long distance, etc), types of camera flash.
Disadvantages: Floresent lights effect quality of photo.
