Disadvantages: Appalling customer service, don't keep their promises nor refund where due

...their own research online as there are a number of threads detailing other similar poor experiences with Desktop Option. I only wish I'd read them before spending my money....

There's no other option for me

Advantages: thick and creamy'; lovely taste; low fat and calorie
Disadvantages: Expensive

...You can't beat a nice warm hot chocolate sometimes in the cold mornings or evenings and nothing beats this brand for me! Mainly because I can indulge in a creamy hot chocolate without feeling guilty - 'Options' due to the vast variety of flavours in the range, plus, because it's the first 'option for slimmer's, with just 33kcal and 0.9g of fat per serving made with water. This product is to be made up with water as opposed to milk. You would have thought this would have made the drink thin like most cheap branded versions of hot chocolate but you're soooo wrong! The powder comes in an hour glass plastic bottle with a light blue twist lid and half light blue, half brown plastic covering. I won't go into too much detail with the packaging as it's easily recognisably on the shelves due to the unique shape. The bottle are really stylish...

These wonderful drinks are produced by Novartis Consumer Health, and will usually be found down the beverages (No! Not the beer aisle) isle in your favourite supermarket. Options are available in a range of flavours, namely chocolate, mint, orange, Irish cream, Toffee and Turkish delight. These are all available in twin sachet packs costing around 44p. You can obtain chocolate and mint in larger sized packs, namely a plastic jar, and this?ll set you back £2.39 or so. ...I started a diet last week, and although I've managed to lose 3lb since then (god knows how) I'm really missing chocolate and occasionally have a bar, even though I know I want to lose weight. The wrong option for me

Advantages: Low calorie... there must be some chocolate in there somewhere!
Disadvantages: the taste!

...I thought I would be a good girl and try something that wasn't full of fat and calories. So I wandered to the shelf of hot drinks in my local Tescos, to be confronted with so many "low cal" chocolate drinks I didn't know where to start. I am a coffee drinker... it keeps me going.. but I shove sugar in it, so I thought maybe a nice Options chocolate drink could replace my coffee (or rather my sugar) intake. The Options range comes in little individual sachets for about 25p each.. so me being me, I shoved one of each in my trolley :oP They are easy enough to make up. Just tear open the top of the sachet (it actually tears easily so you don't end up breaking finger nails or reaching for the scissors), empty into a normal sized mug. Pour on hot water. Stir. Advantages: low calorie, fairly cheap drinks

...Options Tempting Toffee flavour is a hot chocolate drink, which is less than 55 calories and has 1.2g fat. I enjoy hot chocolate drinks and am trying to lose weight so this seemed ideal, particularly as there are a variety of flavours. Originally, each sachet provided 2 drinks. However, the new sachets are no in 1 serving packets of 11g or in the case of Tempting Toffee 13.5g. To drink this you need to tear the dotted line in the top right and empty the sachet into a mug and add hot water (which you?ve let cool a little) and stir well until dissolved. I have found that these drinks need a lot of stirring to fully dissolve the drink. There can be a very thick sediment left at the bottom of the mug. COLOUR As this is a hot chocolate drink, it is a dark brown, The texture is rather thick and leaves a residue on the cup or mug...
