...This is a really great projector, at a very impressive price (£529 on Play) - the cheapest WXGA I've seen! Many DLP projectors suffer from the "rainbow effect" but with this Optoma there is virtually no rainbow effect at all - this is due to the 4x speed colour wheel, which is faster than you would find in many other projectors. Out of the box, the picture is great. I found the yellows were maybe slightly muted but this can be adjusted by the on-screen menus. The actual projector looks very sleek - the black and silver case looks really classy - and it comes with all the inputs you could want, expect SCART, but don't worry - a SCART adapter comes in the box. Being HD ready, it's also got an HDMI port for your HD-DVD or Blu-ray. The remote is easy to use, and the buttons light up so you can see them in a darkened room. Thankfully...

Can you buy a full HD projector on the cheap?

Advantages: Cheap and bright full HD machine
Disadvantages: Poor colour reproduction

Pliko P3 is fit for purpose

Advantages: Good price, does birth to 3, folds up easily-ish, can attach car seat

...I bought the Pliko P3 as I like the idea of the Viaggo car seat being able to clip straight onto it, but after that stage being left with a perfectly useful umbrella folding one-hand one foot see your toddler right through sort of push chair. I checked I could hold a large baby in one hand and fold up the pushchair in the other; that it would fit easily into the boot of both our cars (Toyota Avensis and Celica) and that I thought it would see us through the whole pushchair stage without having to go out and buy a cheaper more lightweight one at sixth months as so many people do. I have now got a second child who uses it, aged one year. The Good Things * For a new born baby you can lie it flat, so if you have a summer baby as we did you can use it in place of a pram. this saves buying a bit bulky pram attachment...

...Wow i still cannot get over how fantastic this ferry is! Last week me and 9 friends caught this ferry from Hull to Rotterdam, the cost of this trip was £55 pound each or 2 for £69 at the money which is a special offer only available to travel on Thursday to Saturday. When arriving at Hull port we were immediately greated by some P&O staff that were very friendly and helpful, we was able to check in after queueing for around 5 minutes. Because we were in a group of ten we had to book in an 8 and a 2 due to P&O changing the booking numbers apparently after getting large groups of people causing trouble, and this was there way of preventing this. At the enterance to the ship the crew were there to greet us and help us in the direction of our rooms. We choose to take the lift which brought us into the centre of a maze of cabins. P is for Prisons... or is it Pontins???

Advantages: Deterrent for some...????

...Prisons (starts with a 'P' doesn't it..? ) ? The question is are they a deterrent or a badge of honour..? I have read a few reviews about prisons in the UK being to soft in the 21st century so I thought, after leaving a comment or two on others reviews, I thought I'd offer my personal opinion about the prisons of today compared to the prisons of.. Let's say a quarter of a century ago? (Caution?this could be a little bit of a rant). Firstly, I am of the opinion that, in certain cases, the wrong people are being sent to the already overcrowded prison? People who fail to pay their council tax for instance have more chance of going to prison than a burglar or a violent offender? a person who defrauds an insurance company is more likely to serve a longer sentence than a joy rider who takes a life?. My fantastic ocean experience with P & O Cruises - Wow!

Advantages: Fabulous dining

...I have been lucky enough to travel on P & O 's faboulous cruise liners on two seperate occasions. The first time we travelled to Zebrugge and the second Zebrugge, Rotterdam and Le Havre. We were greeted by the whole crew and captain once we boared the ship (We have been on both the Artemis, which is mainly for adults and the Aurora). We were given a complementery buffet meal when we arrived whilst we waited for our twin cabin to be ready. It was lovely attending the champagne reception when the ship set sail and a brass band played music to see us off and watching the waves catch the sides of the grand ship. P. & O. My Favourite Cruise-line

Advantages: See lots of different places without packing and unpacking

...P & O have had such bad press lately I thought I would write down my experiences with this company since 1980. The first cruise with P.& O. was on the Canberra in 1980, visiting several countries in the Mediterranean. We went with a couple of friends and had a wonderful time, feeling and being treated like royalty. It took us two years to save for this trip and it was worth every penny. The excitement of leaving Southampton with "You are Sailing" played by a live military band, drinking champagne and throwing streamers over the side, will always stay in my memory, as will as getting a twenty-one gun salute as we arrived at Gilbraltar. Pirelli are one of the top brand names when it comes to tyres, they can be slightly more expensive than some other top brands and are reasons other than garages trying to make a buck or two on them. Pirelli tyres are a well balanced tyre for all occasions and most driving styles. Pirelli are preferred tyres for manufacturers such as BMW, Ford and Vauxhall and some others.
